Stain Removal: when to stop?

I've removed some bad stains in my time, so I wasn't daunted by the staining that Chandra (Marya, WS DD) had when I bought her. She had blue-black stains around her waist, on the edges of her rear and on the backs of her thighs, with a couple of small spots on her legs. She also had a bad dark stain on her bust, which hadthe nipples sanded off and thus had a rough surface.

 

We've had sunny (shock!) weather in the UK over the last week, so I finally got round to taking her to pieces , scrubbing the body with a magic eraser and applying Oxy 10 to the stains. It's been 5 days of sun bathing and reapplying, and the dark blue-black stains on her legs are now very faint red-brown smudges... but they haven't disappeared. They are /far/ less noticeable, but I wonder whether the fact they've gone brown means I won't ever truly remove them. I am not too sad about this: they are very faint, like the marks you might get from sitting on a slatted chair, and much better than they were before.

 

Anyone else dealt with major staining? When do you stop reapplying the Oxy 10, and are the brown marks removable?

When I adopted my Yoko, she had really dark stains on her head, chest, thighs and butt from her default outfit. When she arrived home, I used Oxy10 and treated her daily for a week. The stains on her chest and thighs were completly gone within 5 days. The ones on her head are still there but barely noticeable. She still has the ones on her butt after 2 days of treating them but they are significantly lighter now. So Mitsuki is right, the longer you do the treatments, the more the stain leaves. Heck, I think the stains that are still on her have lightened up more even after the treatments stopped. I am 100% sure if I treated Yokos butt and head again, those minor stains would be completely gone within a week at the most.

This is what I use on my girls. It will take stains out completely if used long enough but be sure to remove the vinyl from the armature for treatment or it'll turn yellow!

It comes in a little tub, and it has the consistency of shortening. It's hard to say how many uses you get depending on the size of the stain. It comes in a 2 ounce size only - I got formula 9-1-1 in the 16oz size since it doesn't go bad. Remove Zit has a shelf life of one year and it is labelled with the month and year of manufacture when you purchase it so you will need to buy it on a yearly basis. ^^;

1st of all I'll recommend you that don't use acetone for the stain removal, i used to this one and this is totally ruined. Be conscious about it.
