Usually when I get home from work, the cats are waiting in the foyer for me, begging for food. But today it was Manami....

 

"Papa! We got a big box in the mail today and it has my name on it but Rei says I can't open it until you get home and I wanted to really bad but she said no so I tried to anyways and she got mad at me so I got mad too and went to go..."

Heh, I don't think Manami is this used to someone WANTING to be all close up and snuggly with her ALL the time. It should be interesting to see how these two get along.

 

So that's Mali! She's now officially back from her Spa treatment and I must say I love her even more now! Misskale did her refresh and I'm super happy with how she turned out. I had to take some pics of her in her new swimsuit.

Heh, when she gets irritated or excited she does that... nonstop talking with NO breaks! It's hard to understand her at all....

Thank you! I think I know why you like her wig tho..... it used to be Elisabeths default! I think it works well on her and no w that you say that I know I made a good choice. And thanks about Manami and her cookie, I always find her adorable when she's snacking away happily. It will be fun to see how these two get along over time. Mali just loves Manami but Manami isn't sure how to handle all the attention. It's usually Manami who is giving the attention, not receiving it.

Thank you! Mali's wig is actually Elisabeth's old default wig! I had another on her but the bangs didn't work out well so I swapped to this one. It seems I did the right thing.

 

And I'm so glad you read that photo like you did because that's exactly how it was meant! Manami *is* confused and unsure of what to do since SHE is usually the one doing the chasing of skirts and showing loads of affection. She's not used to this turnabout so it will be fun seeing how she handles it.

Thank you! Heh, you and I are thinking the same thing... Tsubaki is a big fan of Manami as well so seeing how SHE handles meeting Manami and dealing with Mali will be interesting to say the list. And thanks about Manami's new wig! I'm really liking it too. Her old style was fine and all but she was in need of something a bit more updated. She seems pretty happy with it too.

Hee hee.... she may seem clingy but she's so much fun! Manami is already having a time and a half with her, Mali is always by her side now. And thank you about the changes I've made to her. I was a little worried you wouldn't agree with some of them.... but I had to make her more "mine" if you know what I mean and I think this style suits her really well. Thank you very much! Don't worry about making a photo story, it's not as hard as it seems. It may take a few tries to get things looking like you want tho. Posing the girls, getting backgrounds right, setting up accessories for them to interact with... all these take time. It's the prep work that takes the real time, the actual picture taking usually doesn't take too long unless you have multiple girls doing multiple things in your story. THEN it takes some time.

 

And I'm not sure what you mean by needing to be "tech savvy" to do a photoshoot. All you need is your girl, a camera and some light and you're good to go.

ROFL I think I can take the pictures...maybe...but then I have to figure out how to get them on to my computer, into a story, and posted to the forum! Well, I had to start somewhere too ya know. Finding out how to get pics online as well as being able to post them took me some time but it's gotten much easier in the past few years. Flickr and Photobucket are good websites to use for uploading and sharing pics so check into those.

 

As for posting them here, you just use the links provided on the websites I listed above and its pretty easy after that. Just write out your story under the picture links and then check how it looks before submitting it. Once I have pics on Flickr, it takes me about 20-30 minutes to write out the story and post it here so you'll prolly take longer the first few times you do them. But as you said, practice makes perfect and life is a big learning experience.

Thank you! And after some hard thinking, Mali and I agreed to change her name to Mari. It seems to suit her better and sounds cuter to me.

 

And yes, I'm at 22 girls now. As far as my plans go, I'm now done with adding any more girls to the family. Once I had Kanu in hand, something in my head clicked and I was finally satisfied with everything. I had managed to find both my Unicorns and a bunch of other gorgeous girls along the way. So I really do think I'm done for a long while.... unless Volks does more Ikki Tousen girls.
