baldylox Posted June 6, 2013 After a VERY long shipping period ( over seven weeks! ) Cazzie's Tsubaki has finally arrived at her new home! I really love her looks, she's simply beautiful in person! And while I preferred her longer red wig more, once I put this short one on her, she really made me smile. So I think she'll be using this one for a bit. Some flowers out front were blooming and I decided it would be nice to let her pose with some of them. This first one was a rescue plant from out by the road. I dug it up and transplanted it to where it is now, right up near my house. And every year since I moved it, it's given me lots of nice blooms. DSC_1455 by balldylox, on Flickr I planted this about 7 or 8 years ago and it's bloomed ONCE since then. The funny thing is, I have lots of flowers planted out front but they seem to only bloom when a new girl arrives! This has happened quite a few times before and it happened again with Tsu-chan. This hydrangea bloomed the day before she arrived with just this one flower: DSC_1456 by balldylox, on Flickr But the day after she got here, two more opened up! I especially like those last two photos of tsubaki, her personality really seems to shine through there. Her face up is super cute and I see what you mean about her eyes, they are really enchanting. That's really awesome about the flowers blooming when you get a new girl. I told you that you had a magical DD gathering spot. =3 The flowers are very lovely and I'm glad they bloomed for Tsubaki. I'm just happy she got here with no damage or anything. And yes, she seems to be pretty happy about being here too. It's been a while since I last saw some photos of Tsubaki. That's interesting that she was out touring the country with a final destination of your place. Those eyes of hers are amazing! Yeah, it's been a while for sure but don't worry, you'll see more of her for sure! I don't know if she was actually touring or not but as long as she's home and in good shape, I'm fine with it. You're not the only one who wishes they had the energy to keep up with flowers, I wish I did too. Planting them isn't the issue for me, it's the watering and other care they need that I rarely get time for. That's why I try and put in flowers that don't need too much attention and can do well on their own. Sometimes it works out well, other times it doesn't. I'd like more flowers out front for sure so I can have something blooming almost all year round, that would be great for more photos!
