baldylox Posted July 3, 2011 I've been waiting for this to happen and it finally decided to do it. I planted some flowers about 3 years ago that I transplanted from my parents place. Most of them have bloomed by now except for one in particular. It's a day lily and it's already had one bloom show up and drop off. Dunno how I missed it tho. Anyways, after 3 years, it finally decided to bloom so when I saw the color, I had to get Miyuki out to take pics with it. I think they match up nicely. Here she is in the front flowerbed with it: She's looking quite nice in her Sakura Everyday Wear set. A closeup of the bloom: "Look Papa! It's like my hair!" The dogs next door are barking at us and Miyuki is wondering if they'll ever shut up. It was pretty cloudy out this afternoon but it wasn't super hot like it has been. Miyuki decides to sit down for a minute on the front steps. "Are you having fun taking pictures Papa?" I am yes! "Come sit here next to me Papa." Next, we went to the backyard to check out the hydrangea plants. For some reason they didn't bloom this year. Maybe we haven't had enuff rain. Miyuki also brought out her hat for the backyard pics. She's cute with her hat. And now the hat is off... And now its on again! You're silly Miyuki! Now Miyuki dances around a little.... Now she's really being silly and flipped up her hat brim. I think she's trying to hide in the leaves too. "I like these leaves! They're very soft." It's now starting to get breezy. Maybe we'll get some needed rain? Miyuki's hat keep wanted to fly away so she holds it down. It started to get dark with clouds so we decided to head back inside for some sodas. I hope yall enjoyed our little photo session outside!
