I've got a few things I'm sure I'm going for including the Taisho sets this time!

 

I'm sure the Argyle Cardigan Set and Lace-Up Top Set will also be very popular.

 

 

Aaahhh, nuuuuuuu! I would love the Argyle Cardigan set for my Ayano, but she just got an outfit from Volks International. And I recently realized she has the most clothes that are just for her. Soo, maybe I'll hunt for it later, even though I'll probably have to pay more.

I'll be going to this event Going for the Lace-Up Top Set myself and going to try to pick up the Purple Taisho Modern Schoolgirl Set for Jezatron Must enlist my husband's help for this set since I know how popular the Lace-Up Top Set is~ Even if I can't get that one though there are a lot of other nice sets I wouldn't mind getting instead

Yep, Nekopon's got it right. Just as a point of reference for those click-warring, here's the approximate order you'll want to add stuff to your cart / check out. At least, based on what people asked of me back in March.

Also worth a mention is Black Rider, since there were hardly any of those available to begin with. I'm assuming the USA relative stock level will probably be similar (also not much of this outfit, versus number of copies of the others).

 

Random comment on the Taisho schoolgirl sets: you'll get to learn to tie a hakama the proper graduation way in order to put them on! Unlike some of the other Volks traditional-Japanese sets, these aren't pre-tied with a button snap. But it's OK since they are easy to tie and you get to learn something .

The Lace-Up Top Set is one of my favourite of Volks' outfits so far TT_TT;; Too bad my wallet is empty...

Man I wish I had more money I would buy both outfits

So the only solution left for non american is to pay those outfits twice or more on Ebay ?

This won't help for this release, but for next time be on the look out for when the outfits are released on Volks International. With Volks International you'll still have to "click war" for the items you want, but you'll be able to do it yourself.

 

The only way to get anything from Volks USA is to find someone to try and get it for you in person at the store or online when the outfits are put up. You'd have to find someone who didn't want any of the outfits you want because each person can only buy one of each of the different outfits so no doubles.

Crapbaskets, there's actually stuff I want but it'll be an hour after they go on sale before I get off work ;~;

Really looking forward to the Home Town Dolpa Osaka 7 Collection. There are some nice outfits up for grabs. I wouldn't mind getting the 'Lace Up Top Set & Argyle Cardigan Set'. But I know that they are going to be as nearly as impossible to get due to the 'Click Wars' that always take place. My wallet speaks a different tune though

I guess due to high prices, this was a surprisingly easy event!

I only went for lace-up top, but the rest was still in stock after I checked out.

Nope, the Lace Up Top was sold out within seconds. I managed to snag one though along with the Argyle Cardigan set.

Yeah, Volks USA is a bit harsh on the shipping but still better than paying aftermarket prices!

I was also able to grab the Lace Up top set and the boots I wanted, with time to spare. It was in stock longer then I though it would be but still sold out in about a min from what I could tell.

I was just surprised that the website didn't get totally hosed during the release. It's not usually as bad as Volks Int but this time everything loaded just fine and right on schedule.

Got a Black Rider Set and paid 60% over for shipping. Ridiculous but yes, still better than aftermarket.
