Sekitan no Hashira Posted June 11, 2013 Hello! I'm Seki! I'm turning fifteen at the end of the month, which means I'll finally be old enough to get a job and start mass buying DD supplies. I actually just ordered my first girl from Volks USA, and bought an HDD-05 for her off Yahoo Japan. I'm a relatively busy person, but I still find time for obsessing over dolls on the interwebs. I can be pretty random and have a strange sense of humor. I'm also quite loud, but it fortunately doesn't show through a keyboard. I'll probably go crazy uploaded pictures of my doll (whose name will be Hibana) once I get her faceup right and have her all outfitted, because I'm just the kind of person who takes photos of everything. In my corner of the world, the doll hobby is literally unheard of, as are anime and manga, so meeting other hobbyists here will be nice. I speak a fair amount of Japanese, and draw often, but my profile is crappy because it was drawn on Microsoft Paint, which is the only way that I can get it to fit in the 16 KB or below range. I also sew clothes, so obtaining outfits won't be a problem for me . So, I can't wait to see what sort of inspiration I'll find here! Be sure to post some as soon as you have them because I'm busy worrying about doing my first face up and I bet yours is going to look great! Maybe that can inspire me to just go ahead and try once my girl arrives! I gather you are also in "holding mode" waiting for your girl's arrival? Frustrating, isn't it! The body is supposed to arrive by the 23rd, but I don't think the head will be here for a little while after, since it's coming from Sapporo-shi. Hopefully it'll get here by my birthday... And maybe one day we can meet I live downstate during parts of the year anyway~ It's not that random of a name. It's in the Southern Tier area, by Binghamton and Endicott.
