My first two DDs Neris and Beatrice~

Hello all !!

 

I made an account here a month ago just when I placed an order for Neris and that was my start of this hobby. what made me fall for these dollfie dreams re pictures of users i found on flickr and figure.fm and danny choos website. Rina ogata was my trigger or the one i fell for, even though that was last year i didn't even start or bought one. the time Neris and Airy were announced , while I still had not much information about DDs, I still fell for Neris and i said she's the one i'll start with and there i was on may learning more about dollfie dreams and i spent days and hours discovering how awesome they are. this forum was suggested to me by a member in DoA, and i'm glad i came here ^^ I can share stories with so many and this makes it more worth the while.

 

my intro post here, I was also wishing to get a beato DD,, she's also a first-sigh love and by a miracle i was able to collect the money for it and I got her for a decent price. that itself was a happy moment.

 

story short, I got my first two Dollfie Dreams at the same month, and they were shipped out on the same day XD and received them both together! I haven't been this excited about receiving a package in a long time. I didn't know what to expect since all what I have seen is pictures ^^ but I'll tell you that I had the best feeling ever unboxing each !

 

 

 

 

 

 

I started with Neris since she was my first to buy and my god isn't she a cutie >< she's got such an adorable face ! I'm glad I didn't miss her out. I love her gentle smile *huggles neris*

I was really afraid to handle her because I didn't want to harm her hehee, but it amazed me how flexible the body is !

 

this is her outfit and accessories set. man it took SOOO much time to put her into her clothes >< i had to figure out what to put first, that's also because it was my first time so it became more hard lol. but her outfit is sooo pretty ^^ so for those who don't want to get a neris, maybe getting her outfit is a good deal since i think its not going for so much, for now at least heh

 

 

BEATOOOO how I love you so much !!! TwT yes i have a thing for her..... her sculpt is perfect and she's sooo beautiful ,,, i have a character is mind for her that would fit her just fine

 

her dress is gorgeous, everything fits so well together ^^ I didn't have a hard time dressing her, maybe bcuz it was hard with neris then i figured it out lol

 

 

 

my girls are saying hi to all of you ^^ they wish to stay friends with all of you hehe

 

 

overall, these two have brought me so much joy in the past 24 hours XD and they'll continue to !! I still have so much to learn from all of you, this forum has many great people and thread to read and discuss ^^. So far, I still need to buy them clothes and extra body parts and so much other stuff that you guys went through. my only issue is that I still collect figures ( i'm cutting down my expenses to balance it with DD now) and at the same time, I want to look for Rina Ogata, i reeeeeeeeally don't want to miss on her since she's the one who started this flame in my heart hehe. I hope my girls won't be sad for a while,,, they might be happy to get a new sister. I still don't know yet and how it'll go ^^' i'll keep you all posted. as for now, i'll enjoy my time with beato and neris~

Ah, congratulations! You're lucky to get two girls at once. They're truly sisters getting shipped out at the same day.

 

Do you have any plans in changing their wig/eyes or will they stay like this?

I'm the same! I haven't bought much figures this year which also makes me kind of sad. I never thought that I could spent so much money on wigs, clothes, shoes, etc. That's why I decided to skip out on purchasing new DD in order to spoil my girl better and finally get some merch again, thehe.

Thanks!! ♡ ahahaha yea, I think I couldn’t resist beato at the same time. Neris is happier since she wouldn’t be alone ! and yea I got lucky that they got shipped at the same time it gives a better flavor for a first time thing ^^’

 

Of course I do ! I’m already going around looking for types of clothes and wigs I should get. I’m still trying to learn more about my girls. I already figured out how beato will turn to be. I’ll just need time XD . not so sure about the eyes, they feel a bit difficult to change, also I’m a bit picky and dunno what will feel right for each. Gotta do more research on that ^^’

aah , I really can't not buy figures , i have like preorders until the end of the year >_>'' but i'll try not to get what I can get later cuz some of what i get sell out once they are released which could suck for me ( i wouldn't wanna pay so much more on second hand shops ><') but yea i understand what you mean about paying for the clothes shoes wigs, etc, i'll try to be erm economical with how I buy lol, at the moment i'll see whether i can get Rina next , if not, i'll spend it on spoiling the girls ^^'

Wow, Congrats.. two lovely ladies at once, and you did a fantastic job in dressing them and putting on their wigs. Both Neris and Beato's wig from what I heard is very difficult to put on without making a mess out of it after. Look forward to seeing more pictures of these two lovely ladies from you again.

it is challenging ! it's just the beginning for me and I'm gonna try and see how to balance my purchases since i'm already broke for this month lol. I ran out of space but i'm soon gonna have a new display cabinet for the rest of what I have. trying not to make it a problem, but yea I think most of us share the same "issue"? hehe

 

oh well~ all I gotta do is enjoy my time regardless of that

aahahaha thank you XD' ! I couldn't resist both ! I had a hard time with neris mostly since she's the first one I opened although i did read somewhere else that others had troubles dressing her up XD. Her wig was also challenging, I was afraid that i'd make it messy ^^' , so for now it looks ok. Beato's wig is easy to put on , but i'm not saying you shouldn't be careful heh. hopefully i'll post more pictures with time ^^

Congrats on getting two beautiful girls at the same time! I bet that was exciting getting both the same day and doing their box openings. Especially since they were your first ever DD's. I think you did a great job getting them ready. You really did better than most with Neris' wig, she looks really gorgeous. I'm really looking forward to seeing what new clothes and styles you fix them up in. I think that is the most enjoyable part of owning DD's is trying new looks and styles on them.

thanks a lot for the nice comment ! ♡ i'm lucky to goth at the same time, they were too pretty to resist heh. Neris's wig is actually hard to put without messing it up ^^' i'll need to take care of it. All I need now is to save money to style them up cuz that's gonna cost a bit heh and it's true that's the most fun part and of course taking pictures and sharing it with the community here XD

OMG I think my head would explode if I got two such gorgeous dolls at the same time. I have to warm up to these things! Hahahaha~ I hope you have just the BEST time with your new daughters. ^^ They look like they are going to get along really well.
