Harleyquinne Posted June 13, 2013 I stayed up way too late these past couple nights trying to fix the face up for my girl as I finally got her body on Monday. It's not the best job in the world as I didn't have enough money to buy the professional grade acrylics or Mr Super Clear, so I raided my kids' art supplies and did the best with what I had. I think she came out alright, and I figure I'll just be really careful with her until I can get my can of Mr. Super Clear. I named her Yohko after the default wig that I bought from another member here and repaired, as well as one of my favorite anime characters from my early years of when I first started watching anime - Devil Hunter Yohko! Although because of her red hair and yellowish eyes, and that I built her with practically nothing, I've given her the nickname "Phoenix". (I apologize for the crappy photos - I'll try to give her a more decent photoshoot when it's light outside) Her face up:

Innocentsake Posted June 13, 2013 Her face-up turned out really nice! Is this your first time doing a face-up? Harleyquinne Posted June 13, 2013 Thank you all! I appreciate the feedback on my face up. Yes, it was my first time doing a face up, but I've been drawing for years. I think it came out quite nice considering my very low grade acrylic paints I had. When I get my next paycheck, I hope to buy some better paints as well as Mr. Super Clear so that I can touch it up before sealing it on.
Bouncing_Tigger Posted June 23, 2013 You did an incredible job on the faceup! Wow!! If I can do half as good with mine (once I get the courage to try), I'll be happy! Very, very cute!!
baldylox Posted June 23, 2013 She's very pretty! I just love 01 head girls and yours is cute as a button. Nice work on her face and good choice of eyes, I like those a lot. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Harleyquinne Posted June 30, 2013 Thanks for the compliments everyone! I need to get on the ball and start taking more pictures of her. Right now she's styling in a new wig I picked up from the marketplace. I'm also working on a Neris-inspired outfit for her. Doing the face up was fun - and a little daunting. But it helps that I put on some anime music and just focused on making her look fabulous!
