Personally...I don't actually like her fullset at all. Just not my thing. Braids are cute, but not my thing. Long school uniform is cute (I like the colors), but I won't ever use it in my life...so basically if I decided I want to go after her I'd literally be going only for her. I almost want to say me having to deal with CA tax cause I'm in the state makes it so I have almost zero interest in bothering.

The Volks USA says: "Normally the Dollfie Dream Festival is held exclusively in our Akihabara showroom and through the Japanese website, but this year, Volks USA is happy to announce that we’ll be able to offer this event’s special items to you!"

 

So I'm asumming that they'll have the lottery on Volks INT as well for people outside of US/Canada/Mexico and Japan to enter.

Will there be an international lottery for her? I might actually cry if she's for Japan and US only...

 

Stalking the Int site 4 times a day for this info teehee. I'm even contemplating getting a US buying service to give the USA lottery a go for me to be doubly sure!

The husb has now won me over for wanting to get Mariko - though.. I can't remember when the US offers a dollfie.. like say Lucy (magical version), did they have the winner announcement before the Volk Intl lottery opened up? If we dont win the US one I'd want to try for the Intl one... but how do they handle cancelations if you happened to have won both? Are they like Mandarake and ban you from participating again? Not that I probably couldn't find a buyer for the second won if we were that lucky... (but still, don't want the husb to be freaked out with two dolls being charged on the CC.. XD)

Usually the results for VolksUSA lottery Dollpa items are announced before the VolksInt lottery starts. This is the first time VolksUSA is offering items from DD fest so it's unclear if it will work the same way. However, if you do end up with more than one Mariko, odds are good you can find a home for the extra on the forum

I knew that they would do a second version of her at some point, but I didn't think it would be now. I don't have the money T^T

I saw a commercial (If you would call it that?) on the VOLKS japan website of her... Just after I paid for Mayu ;A; Volks is so sneaky for always releasing new limited models when I don't have enough money.

I like her and wish I could have her but I am not aching and dying inside if she can't be mine. Her outfit set suits my style perfectly but I still prefer her in white skin. If some money falls from the sky I may enter the lotto... That said I have only just managed to pay off my overdraft and I would go bankrupt to get her so I just have to pass *sigh*

Yay! The lottery schedule has been released on the Int. site! It's July 14th and 15th with winner notified on the 16th.

Buuut since I don't have linking privileges yet, you'll just have to take a look see over there yourself ^^;

She's definitely cute and all, and I'd LOVE to have her. I just don't like her more than Kos-Mos, nor being perma-banned from the Volks JP site. Someday I hope to enter a Volks lottery, but the timing just isn't right. At one point I would have been aching to get her, but the character I wanted her for works much better for Lucy (magical ver.), and she is one I'm still pining for. When I first saw Mariko Sensei I totally fell in love with her, but seeing her so often on the forums satisfies my need to see pretty pictures of her.

 

I wish everyone the best of luck for those who can enter. I'll be happily waiting for more photos once they find their new homes.

So will Volks USA have the same announcement date for the winners?? The USA store seems to have a much later date to pay off the doll over the Intl site. For me to apply for both it'd help to know so I can use that for asking for a backup (and also letting the husb know when we'd have to pay for her! XD)

Unfortunately, we do not have an exact date for the lottery announcement.

The current estimated time is end of July.

 

Our entry period ends on the 15th and it will take us some time to go through

and complete the process all of the entries. So, we cannot say whether we will

be finished by the time of the international lottery.

That strikes me as kind of weird? Maybe because the USA branch doesn't know how many Mariko's they will be getting at the end of the month and that is why?
