putting on panties

I received a pair of panties in an outfit I bought recently. It's made the same way as panties for people, with bits of elastics. What I noticed was that it was very hard to put it on the doll.

 

Due to the thighs and hips of the doll's figure becoming wider, it was impossible to slide the panties up her legs without stretching the panties and causing it damage.

 

I tried to see if I can put it on by removing the doll's legs and trying to put it directly where the panties would go, but it was awkward and the hips was still too wide. The outfit was for a regular DD body, which my doll has.

 

The panties were not mentioned in the description of the outfit I bought, so they were kind of a free bonus to begin with.

 

Any of you have tips on how to put panties on your girls? Right now mine is going commando. Perhaps there are panties for sale that opens from the side?

Did the outfit you buy, was it specifically made for a DD? most DD panties stretch pulling up just like human-clothes would, and fit no problem

 

Because sometimes SuperDollfie or other BJD dolls in general - their clothes will mostly fit a DD girl, but sometimes there are strange issues like certain pieces being too narrow due to figure differences

What kind of materials is it made of because it is strange to have problems with panties.. I don't think there is any panties that open from side though. If it comes as an extra piece, it might be for a different doll size because I for quite a few times received extra pieces of MSD size for an order of all SD size pieces I bought

The outfit sold was advertised as being for DD with the L bust, which is what I have.

 

The material seem to be cotton or whatever common material's used for clothing, nothing too unusual. The part around the waist are elastic, while the rest are fabric that doesn't really stretch. By the time the panties get to the upper thigh the elastics seem very strained. But I'll try messing with it again when I have the time. All other pieces in the outfit fit the doll fine and maybe I'm just being nervous with the panties.
