Volks JP at Magical Mirai 2013 Hatsune Miku Event

I'm thinking of planning and making some outfits for Miku while I wait for her arrival... It's such a long wait, I want to keep myself busy doing something constructive and not forget about her either!

I'm thinking of planning and making some outfits for Miku while I wait for her arrival... It's such a long wait, I want to keep myself busy doing something constructive and not forget about her either!

 

Yeah, me too. At very least her Halloween costume, and maybe a Christmas outfit if I can find the fabric I want. At least she's close enough to Nanoha's size that so long as I leave a little fudge room in the patterns I can just use her as a model. Not like Homura, where I'll need to kidnap Animagic4u's Haruka if I want to get any clothes made for her while I wait.

I think that they should have made a new sculpt for her... And her size should be DDS, and S breast, not SS ><

But her costume is so detailed! Even cosplayers don't paint all those numbers and equalizers. Her wig is skin-coloured under hair, so there isn't necessary to buy a silicone hat ^^

The painted nails are a special edition.

I want have Miku too!!! But I can buy her... So I try found Miku split, an dtry get wig and eyes, but may... But this days are no lucky to me

 

I really want see, then Volks make more Miku outfits, also I want see Miku's outfit sewed by Poofiemus's !!! ^^ It is so interesting, I just want say good luck on sewed her outfit!!!

 

I was thinking as many people. May Miku looks better on DD sister body, because she is very Young lady and S bust not SS... If I have job in Volks, my miku will be DD Sister S or M bust, Normal Skin and with very much outfits, wigs and eyes from her music videos Work of dream, working in Volks

yea. kind of. when i downgraded Georgia from a DY to a dds i turned changed her into SeeU. i have pictures lying around somewhere (just sold the sister body to help pay off kos mos tho so now shes a SeeU head :c)

She got me my friends. RIP. Even though I'm not a huge vocaloid fan, the way Volks portrayed Miku here was just 2cute4me. I preordered her, so get hype!

sounds like, from the crappy auto translate, that it might be a SWS suit.. it's just a little bit too dark I think. :\

 

 

Oh Volks... even you know that this new outfit would be murder for our SWS Miku's... they should just send a body suit with every doll they release... XD

Oh my gosh, it looks so odd with the bodysuit! Come on Volks, you could at least taken the wrinkles out... Or better yet just lined the outfit in white to save everyone grief! I hadn't noticed the bodysuit before, but now I can't stop snickering.

Volks, you are getting annoying... Why do you seem to think that no one wants to see Miku out of her two 'defaults'? Volks, go in a time-out!

Miku is kinda on the edge for me buuut it would be sooo helpful if Volks put her in a different wig.

Yup, my feelings exactly. I would have thought with the new batch of wigs they released a couple months ago a true wig swap would be logical for them, but apparently, no.

 

Volks needs to just send one of the prototypes to Kymaera or Mitsuki for photos; those two have huge wig collections.

did they ever post photos of preorder girls with diff wigs on while the preorders were still open? I can't remember if they showed Kosmos and Momo with diff wigs/eyes before the preorder period ended (same with saber and whoever else).

 

Not sure if this is why but maybe it is because they want to push the default set and the senbonzakura set and show it as much as they can to show how those available bits look with different outfits. They will probably change some of it up after the preorder is closed? In some weird way it could be a case of, if they showed Miku with 100% changed up pieces (eyes, wig, clothing) then it might make people realize that they don't want or need her as a fullset and therefore she's not worth the preorder (ignoring a fact of yknow being able to split a doll with others). Of course it can backfire and they could get way more preorders by showing her with nonstandard eyes/wig whatever.

 

Who knows why companies do what they do... XD

IIRC, the Sabers in particular and also Kos Mos and MOMO as well had pics with different outfits and wigs even during the preorder time.

 

My theory is that since Volks' entire marketing strategy consists of "It's Miku!!!!!!" that we don't get to see her out of default. Maaaaybe after the deadline comes we can see something else, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if we get nothing even then.

I think we can see better the uniqueness of Miku's mold with these pictures, at least.

With the teal make-up on the side of the eyes and the teal eyebrows, I guess Volks will find risky to show her with other wigs. It might emphasize the teal color a wrong way for some persons and make them really notice it as the teal make-up is quite subdued with the teal wig.

i agree. it would be nice if they had more photos of her versatility but i'm sure they think "she's hatsune miku, the names enough of a selling point for us" .... which is pretty true but cmon! lets see her with a blonde bob!
