SWEET! Granted, that's for International people, and I used USA, but still! I'd say mid to late December is probably a good estimate for the US shipments.

 

Which I find kind of hilarious, because when I paid for her, I joked that I was buying future me a Christmas present. Looks like I literally was!

Ugh, yeah, all that Xmas, Haunakah, and Other Miscellaneous Winter Holidays stuff will be gumming up the postal system; I forgot about that. >.< Hopefully Volks USA gets her on the early side!

This is encouraging Whenever I feel like it’s been to long I watch that Volks Miku commercial. Will have to wait till November or December since I ordered her from Volks USA

Actually, there are more details to the release date that were not mentioned in previous posts.

 

If you preordered your Miku on Sept 30 or earlier and were in Japan, home deliveries will start on Oct 20 and store pickups will start on Oct 25.

 

If you preordered on October 1 or later, your dolls will be in a second shipment. Dates to be announced later.

 

If you bought from the International store, it may or may not be the same as the above. The DD blog is for Japan only, and I didn't see a note about overseas shipments (to confirm or deny) when I skimmed. So.. maybe, and maybe not the same as the above!

I ordered mine on the 28th So if it turns out to be the case, mine will be on her way!

Mines on the 28th too. I know nobody knows when they will send the payment invoice, but does anyone have a guesstimate based on previous Volks preorder experiences or the like?

I ordered through USA, but on the 28th, so I suppose I'm in the first US shipment. At least, I hope so!

 

I'm not surprised they had to put her in two batches. Heck, even having the split at the two-day mark is still precedented via the Sabers. I just hope it isn't that big a gap between batches; there were like two months between each Saber batch, and even though I didn't participate in that one I can say from observation that sucked for a lot of people.

The Miku hands collection and 01 bodysuit will be part of the DD Gathering on October 11. So yeah, you'll have to buy them before you get the doll herself (at least if buying direct from Volks).

Volks USA are usually a few months slower as it take's a while to ship the Miku's to the states unless they'll be sending the dolls directly to the US customers from Japan?

oh thank glob about the shipment announcement. I ordered mine purposely later via the USA site just so it gave us more time to save. My husband will be able to breathe easier for a little bit now.. XD

I have never gotten a Dollfie Dream from Volks, does anyone know how much to expect the shipping to be?

that can be a good thing though - if (glob forbid) there are production booboos, they've usually got things sorted out before they get to the last orders - or at least know how to handle returns/etcs : )

Indeed, I was in the second batch of Volks USA Sabers (so the fourth batch), and I had to wait for about a year to get mine when others had already had them home for several months. But the first three batches all had structural integrity issues, and I never had a single problem with either of my girls.
