Volks JP at Magical Mirai 2013 Hatsune Miku Event

Is this for the USA site only, or will the snow miku preorders reopen in Japan too?

Cos the september release is so perfect for me, this is the first time a Miku release would actually line up with me having enough money, plus I'll even be living in Japan then 8') But VolksUSA is US/Can only.

 

edit- Cant find anything on the international or JP site about it. Thwarted from owning a Miku yet again :c

 

The Japan release may have been the special limited quantity lottery they just held a month ago.

Yeah, I thought it probably was, but I was hoping there might be more snow miku cos volks JP only had original Miku reopen. I'm glad Miku gets more releases but I just cant believe every single time it's happened has been at a time when its impossible for me to have that money upfront, but the one time the release date would be perfect is one I can't have OTL

 

But I guess I can still hope that there will be a bunch of snow Mikus on the aftermarket after June when most of them get released. Either that or waiting for Volks to announce a Sakura Miku, which I'm hoping will happen. Miku can't escape me forever

Well, so much for VolksUSA fixing the cart issue. Now it's worse. Had the Mikuzukin set in my cart and checked out, only to get a "backordered" notice after coming back from Paypal. About an hour later I received the email saying they oversold the item and will refund me. No telling how long that will take. *grumbles*

 

At least with the previous vanishing cart items, you wouldn't get charged!

Is down payment Snow Miku really already gone?! I wasn't planning on ordering her today, more like the 13th when my check goes in, but still. Oh well, secondhand market here i come

I just preordered my Snow Miku this morning on VolksUSA!!!

Fortunately she wasn't a hard sell to my hubby because he saw her in Sept 2015 (in a glass display case) while visiting Volks in Akihabara. Really liked what he saw. He's been wanting me to get her ever since.

Should be shipping out this September to the States. I can't wait as she will be my 2nd DD and first "reserved" doll.

I was so worried something like that would happen with original Miku herself. I'm glad to see she's still "in stock" on the site, otherwise I'd be nervous that I didn't actually "get" her until she shipped. I'm kind of surprised she's still in stock, but I guess I shouldn't be since 1) there wasn't tons of notice about this re-release for people to save up 2) It's NA only 3) it's yet another re-release (not that I'm complaining!)

I was not supposed to buy anything this time around, but by the time I got home from work all the hands I wanted were still available.

Me too. I had tasked my manfriend with ordering Miku + body suit + Senbonzakura for me when sales opened, because I can't really do stuff like that at my work (he works at home most of the week.) I was so happy I was able to get her that I forgot about the hands, and was relieved that most of the large hands were still in stock today, so I was able to get the 2 pairs I wanted.
