The Phantom thief, and her lovely assistant.

This week is turning a bit into picspam, but I was rather chuffed my dollpa loot finally came in, just before the weekend to boot, so I tore open the contents for a quick shoot.

 

The featured contents here are the Strawberry milk cookie set, and Phantom thief set with the cape and hat as an optional extra (personal note, I hate the hat, and its hairpin attachment to keep it on.)

 

For models this time the randomatic pulled out old Arttuuria, and Yonkko, whom I havent really taken pictures of too much.

 

What im not too happy about is that by re-arranging my livingroom I lost my makeshift stage option, and Im back shooting in my bookshelf with iffish lighting, but managed semi likable shots with a little post-fiddling.

One admission I need to make, and thats using a Stunt body this time, since Id rather not take Saber out of her full bells and whistles armor I have her on display with. so I used Yukimaru as a stand in.

At first I was contemplating should I change yonkko's wig for this shoot for a curly pink, or a pearl silver wolf wig, but eventually decided that since I made yonkko a redhead, she stays a redhead.

Definitely loving the Clark Gable inspired photos~ It's so dramatic and I'm wondering just what will happen next I also really like the one where Arturia is down on one need with her hat on her knee And Stunt Doubles do amazing work!

Considering the what would happen next, I was trying for a slap in the face shot for a "what next", but I just couldnt really get it work properly due to the dynamics involved (do I want it pre-slap, post-slap, or immediate-slap?) .. But as a result I got the alternate angle shot with the drooping arm that has yonkko looking just that little more vulnerable.. funny how things evolve when working with poses.

The two Gable-shots are my own favorites too, especially because they were kind of happy surprises how they turned out.

 

Looking at it now im actually surprised you can pose a DDH04 head so it looks like its mouth is a straight line, instead of the normal big smile... heh.

Both of those outfits are sooo cute! And I just love the "Gable" shots! They are definitely my favs but the others are cute, too! Congrats on the great new clothes!

mm.. the gable inspired ones still make me grin a bit even after this time, so I guess its safe to say they were some of my more successfull shots.
