Recommended Posts

So i came across some pictures and i love the bodies they are much more womanly and shapely than regular obitsu bodies and they dont cost quite a much as VMF50/Angel Philia girls. My question is do they server international customers?? if i were to order a character full set would i have to use a proxy?? Thanks for the answers guys

I love these But they are so expensive! I have 2 VMF50 bodies that I have managed to pick up cheaply from Mandarake/ HLJ before they went out of stock and broke. The new angelphilia versions are so much more expensive I almost cried with outrage - how can basically same doll cost so much more... I only want her body....

If I recall correctly, with the full set character for 1/6 doll, the Azone website will release exclusive versions while you can always pre-order normal version from most of the J-hobby sites. Amiami will mostly have better deal because of the discount. I'd love to have one of the character too but can't be justified enough with painted eyes . But their outfits are just way too cute. That's why I always go for 1/6 ones, which obviously cost much less

I actually believe Azone now has the 1/3 line of Black Ravens that use Obitsu bodies. They look quite gorgeous, although the price is comparable to the DDs. They come with beautiful default clothing.

see i really want a nice looking obitsu body and not the scrawny default but cheaper ones, so the azone looks prime but yup its freaking expensive, and finding a vmf50 may take a while. I need to get acquainted with the body types to see what i like/want/will hunt for.

Hi Nelly19,

I think think you'll be much better just getting a vmf50,

the bodies are divine from curvatious to slim and

structured. I think you would like Risa which is quite available

or really go for it and grab Yumi or the best Nao;)

Tommy owes me one >0<

If you don't want to pay for a VMF/AP body, you can buy blank Obitsu bodies and heads as well as option parts from Parabox's english website:

http://www.parabox.jp/eng_new/

I bought from them recently and was quite happy with the service, but I wasn't purchasing doll parts.

above is a direct link to their 60 cm (1/3 scale) body+head set page, they sell the bodies separately as well though, i think. depending on the head size of your Azone doll, you might want to get a 50cm or smaller body, though:

Have you considered resin BJD for varied body types, full lips, different skin tones, etc? Vinyl dolls are really limited in this regard, but there are a lot of options for resin BJDs

i agree with you about vinyl dolls being very (too) limited in this way. about 75% of my doll collection is resin BJD (different companies, mostly) though and they have their downsides. whether you get resin or vinyl body for your doll depends what you want most out of the body i think - i find vinyl/plastic dolls to be less easily damaged (MDD excepted..) and much more posable, even when compared to very posable resin dolls like Minifee.

also, no matter how you look at it, it's unlikely you'll get a resin or vinyl body that you are happy with for less than $200 unless extremely lucky or maybe don't mind some damage on the body that would bring the price down (second hand).

I decided to stalk sites for vmf50 girls, and if not i will settle for a AZ02 g cup body as they are not as scrawny as regular obitsu girls. I saw two sonico (type a ) bodies up for grabs but the next day poof! Gone, that's my unicorn, a type A body. I might just save until the opportunity arises again. And yes I have thought about resin, but am afraid I may break them, I fall down and drop things a lot. I am a very clumsy person and often skip down my own stairs lol (shame to admit it) I like the obitsu dolls cause they don't get damage if I take a dive down the stairs lol Thanks Guys
