New girl arrived (DD Aerie) ^_^ (slightly image heavy...)

As You maybe remember, I was waiting for Aerie.

Well, at first I only wanted to buy a DD body... but then Dolpa came,

then I thought that Neris is so pretty and Aerie not that much,

then I saw some owner photos of Aerie and turned 180 degrees (maybe 160, whatever).

And arranged her a trip overseas to my home.

In meantime her cat-like smile grew on me. And her overall cuteness.

You know the story, it happens a lot

 

Not a fullset because of the great black hole in my bank account...

But I don't like her default outfit too much so it's not a problem.

 

So yesterday Mr Postman called, that he has a package for me. Big and from Japan.

I went to Post Office, paid the ransom (only 25$, yay!) and received the box from the nice office girl.

She even asked me, why I bought a doll from such a faraway country?

Well, it's simple, no one in the neighborhood makes similar ones.

 

So here is the big box labeled "Used doll & parts"

 

 

 

Inside the big box was a smaller one, and through the window we could see our Aerie (or Airy).

Undine was very interested:

- Is this my new sister?

- Yes, she just arrived.

- Hey, are You okay in there?

- Well, yes, but please get me out of this box...

 

 

 

- Here You are...

Undine watched new girl with curiosity

 

 

 

- Maria ???

- Ummm... No, she's... She's distant relative... I don't have a name yet... ^^"

- Ah. My name's Undine, nice to meet You.

- Nice to meet You, too...

- We have to dress You up.

 

 

 

- Take this dress. It's mine, but will look good on You. We are similar in size, we can share clothes.

 

 

 

 

- Thank You, sister.

- No problem. I'm glad I could help

 

 

 

 

- Thank You for the warm welcome

I hope You enjoyed our little story.

 

This probably isn't her final look, but I already like her like this.

My wife also agreed, that she looks very good in white with these pale blue eyes.

As You can see, my girls can share clothes and shoes, but wigs too.

I have some other wigs in my drawer, and several pairs of eyes.

If I only could find free time... orz

 

As for the ".. & parts" part, please wait a little more...

Congratulations! It's great to see she finally got to you. You took some great photos. It makes me more eager for mine to arrive as well. I agree, she looks great in white like that. Her eyes really stand out, which I like. I like that hairband too. I think it's a good look for her. Hope to see more photos soon.

Congrats on Aerie! She is my fav from the Shining Heart DD girls. I just adore her cat-like smile too. I hope to be able to get her one these days. I like the current look you have on her, suits her very well. It's always great having girls that can share clothes and wigs. I have mine share with each others clothes and wigs all the time. I look forward to seeing more pics of your Aerie with her final look and new name. ^_^

Congratulations on your new girl! It's nice to see a resin girl and a DD who get along well. The more Airys I see, the more the sculpt is growing on me. Her mouth isn't so bad after all.

My girls are both kind and nice so it's only natural they get along... (I don't like the gloomy feeling coming from some resin bjd's, I couldn't keep such dolls at home)

 

Now we're waiting for some clothes to arrive. Mostly white ones

But our drawer isn't empty yet, too...

I know what you mean about that "gloomy feeling" of some other doll types. They give me the creeps!
