baldylox Posted June 23, 2013 Ha ha! Such cool photos! And I absolutely LOVE how you've told a story with NO words at all! It's really hard to convey things with DD's in photos, much less doing it with no words or commentary. I applaud you on a job well done! And I love this photo the most: Just such nice posing! Also, in the first few pics, the robot pieces look like candy! Very cool colors. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Silverwing Posted June 23, 2013 Heh, Glocks. Natural enemy of cute robots everywhere. nice story!
Kumi Posted June 24, 2013 Awesome Glocks tend to be popular among DDs, our Saber has one as well (or maybe more than one...) One question - are these gun-holding hands normal or the new bigger ones?

Also, in the first few pics, the robot pieces look like candy! Very cool colors. Thank you! Marisa is a great little muse for me, so the story just flowed very naturally. My great point of pride is that all poses were done without stands, strings, putty, or other "helpers." The walking-away photo was the hardest of all! Heh, Glocks. Natural enemy of cute robots everywhere. nice story! Hahaha, apparently it's an accurate gun model? All I knew was that it was the right size (and was a total b!$@h to put together -- so many teensy moving parts!). Awesome Glocks tend to be popular among DDs, our Saber has one as well (or maybe more than one...) One question - are these gun-holding hands normal or the new bigger ones? Yes, very popular! The girls have 3, although I'm always tempted to get more... Oaklyn is using the normal 06 hands. They're almost perfect -- the top finger fits right onto the trigger. Yami Usagi Posted June 26, 2013 I love the lighting you used. It's gentleness works quite well with the pictures only format. And poor robot T_T
chocolateyana Posted June 26, 2013 Ah, beautiful, innocent little DD girls...with their glocks. I'd watch out around them. Perfect storytelling though. I love the shots of an adorable girl putting together a robot that barely stands tall enough to headbutt her shins.
Innocentsake Posted June 26, 2013 Very nice story you've put together! Like Billy I'm impressed that you've told a story with just pictures & no words It was so sweet watching Marisa put the robot together, but very sad to watch him be blown up right afterwards by Oaklyn
Cauldroness Posted June 26, 2013 I love the lighting you used. It's gentleness works quite well with the pictures only format. And poor robot T_T Thank you! I actually took the photos right before a rainstorm -- I find there's something very soft and serene about the light on very cloudy days. I have a terrible time with full sun. The robot will be OK! He just has to wait for another girl to put him back together. Ah, beautiful, innocent little DD girls...with their glocks. I'd watch out around them. Perfect storytelling though. I love the shots of an adorable girl putting together a robot that barely stands tall enough to headbutt her shins. The girls are pretty easy to handle, as long as you keep them supplied with a constant stream of new clothes and wigs... Thank you! I really enjoyed playing with the robot, but sadly he belongs to a friend -- now I want one of my own, but they're sold out! Very nice story you've put together! Like Billy I'm impressed that you've told a story with just pictures & no words It was so sweet watching Marisa put the robot together, but very sad to watch him be blown up right afterwards by Oaklyn Thanks! I like it best when I can let the photos speak for themselves. I actually thought about putting Oaklyn first instead of last -- the story would still work that way, too. It's like one big cycle! Someday I'll get a better name for Marisa. I've already tried two with her, but neither have stuck so far. /sigh Doll Photos & Doll Jewelry Sales: Follow me on Instagram! salica Posted June 28, 2013 I really like your pictures too , what kind of camera do you have ? And it was really well done to make a silent photo story , it was beautiful ...until the other girl shot the robot
Cauldroness Posted June 29, 2013 That is awesome! Your girls are so cute and almost like two opposing forces. That poor robot! I'm glad that you like it! Marisa of Creation & Oaklyn of Destruction? Reminds me of Roxanne of Love & Hate in Claymore!!! Altho, blerg, Marisa totally needs a REAL name! I'm thinking I might try Lexi or Kensi (she already rejected both Ari and Meri, the brat). thats true, and i love that pic too! Thank you! I'm actually amazed she could hold the pose, she's got an old DDS body and both thigh joints are totally cracked. Cool cat reinforcement parts do wonders! I really like your pictures too , what kind of camera do you have ? And it was really well done to make a silent photo story , it was beautiful ...until the other girl shot the robot Thanks! I've got a Canon EOS Rebel T1i, and I used the regular kit lens for these photos. I've really had great luck with Canons and will probably use this one until it dies. Hehe, poor robot -- but I just couldn't resist having a twist ending! Doll Photos & Doll Jewelry Sales: Follow me on Instagram!

SisterKyoya Posted July 19, 2013 I have to say that this one is my favorite.
