No plan surives the first encounter...

This always happens to me. I buy a doll, I have a set idea what she's going to wear and BAM! No she does not like dresses thank you very much. Oh and she's told me she's older then I thought... Still haven't got a name for her yet, she could have at least told me that along with everything else. *sigh* At least she looks cute.

 

 

The long sleeves are also to cover her hands till I find a better to keep her. Right now that's the only place my cat don't jump on frequently.

Ha ha! Those 01 girls can really throw a wrench in the works can't they? I know how I is to have one image of your new girl and then when she arrives she's so not going along with it.

Thank you! I'm beginning to realize 01 are nothing but trouble makers I need to find a better knit to make shirts out of though. The left over stuff I have is to bulky for my taste.

Thank you! It's a limited Leeke color Cadet blue. I didn't realize it was limited when I bought it second hand. Now I'm hunting for more wigs in that color for when this wig quits on me! I never managed to keep a curly wig looking decent for more then a few months, I play with my dolls to much.

Her wig color should be LeekeWorld's "Royal Cadet Blue" from Spring 2011.

 

 

LeekeWorld did another one called "Ocean Blue" summer 2011. It is brighter though.

 

 

This summer has purples and pinks. But maybe LeekeWorld will do more blues like Royal Cadet Blue and you can get others in this color or one like it. Although the fibers don't seem dark enough to require a dark colored wig netting/cap thing, they chose to use their very stain prone black cap. It is such a lovely color though.

When I looked at the picture i thought that wig looks a lot like the one i sold with my Pullip XD. I understand what you mean about keeping them looking decent. Everytime I just ordered a curly wig, I'd say to myself, "what are you doing?? you can't deal with that you're just going to turn it into a rat's nest!"

i'm planning to get one myself! i love how you style yours, and yes they tend to not want to stick in character. i was thinking of a story how pregnant parents imagine how they child going to be, and as they grew up, it is nothing like they imagine. but thats the joy of how dolls character can keep evolving and as alive! she will blossom and unfold in your hands like you will never imagine!

I'm a not a huge fan of the bigger bodies, I prefer the little MDD so she's going to be short like me I've got a wig cap on her, but when i took her wig off recently the wig cap had been badly stain so I had to make another one. So I'm debating what I should do about her hair now. I love the color so much, but it stains so much!
