Is there any trick to the "click war"? Last time I did it, I logged onto the site before it started but I was then locked out. The page wouldn't load at all and by the time it was back a lot of the stuff I wanted was already sold out. Is that normal? Is it just luck sometimes?

I think that's what happens unfortunately. Volks website becomes overwhelmed with both real fans/collectors and resellers/scalpers, hehe. I don't think a faster server would help as maybe the stuff would be sold out much faster. I think the page went dead or had some error during the actual inventory update process - when the items were added by Volks' webmaster.

 

What I did last time was have a link in my desktop to log in, and then another to go to the product page. Then click add to cart, or whatever it was. But the server was slow, extremely slow. Adding to cart was slow too. I won my Alice im@s outfit but it was scary going. It took almost 45 min to check out as the checkout page kept timing out, but I had already added the item to my cart by then. The cart item is yours for 11 hours once it's in a logged in cart. But if not logged in, the item is yours for ? 30 min and no longer yours if your browser closes or crashes. I was also late by about 1-2 minutes as I fell asleep just before the click war and thankfully woke up 1-2 minutes after the items were released.

it saves me having to check the page every day. It sends me an email notification as soon as the page is updated, i.e. no longer out of stock.

yeah that happens with a lot of websites - the servers are just overloaded. I've never dealt with a Volks clickwar, but done a clickwar for anime convention sites posting their Artist Alley applications - it's pretty much the same deal.. so many people hammering the site it can cause it to be extremely slow or just straight up over load it

Best thing to do is get on ahead of time (about 15-20 mins) and stay signed into your account. Go to the page of the item that you want the most and refresh every few mins to make sure that Volks doesn't time you out of your account. Keep that up until its time to order and add to cart. Volks international usually lists the other items that are still up in the collection at the bottom of the page you are currently on with add to cart options for each. So you can add all of your things on one page. This has worked for me for all the click wars I've been in. Good Luck.

Chihaya is supposed to have a small bust, but even I think this is a bit too small.

That do look smaller then I imaging (based from the games & the anime...) Still my favorite idolm@ster girl and second to run is Rin shibuya. Both girls are having a great interesting history & personality

And both have smile & size issue's...

I think the SS looks fine really, sure it's flat, but it's a nice option to have. I think it looks really cute myself at first I thought it was a bit excessive, but turns out I like the look.

 

If the girls can have giant boobs, why not super small ones! lol

Flat girls need love too :p but I really hope they make clothes that emphasize the flatness otherwise it's like, what's the point? It 's not noticeable.

Poor Chihaya...she was never that small.

Yes, slim...but not flat. She is young. 15 yrs. But she is not built like a child or a boy.

 

She is technically the same size up top as Makoto, who is also athletically built. But anyone who has played the game knows they are far from flat. It takes away from the character, IMHO.

 

Small bust would have been just fine.

Personally I really like the flat chest too! I hope they release it as an option part for 2 piece torsos...

 

Kinda wish people didn't think of smaller chests as a downside, though!

I love smaller chests on certain characters. I personally just don't think that an uber-flat chest was right for this character. She is a favorite of mine, so I am very particular about her.

 

I like the torso being available now and it would work for a number of girls. Just not this one for me.

I have no clue about IM@S, so I can't comment how appropriate SS is for this particular character. However, I do still find it odd that this bust size first shows up on a DDS, and not an MDD where truly being flat as a washboard would make so much logical sense.

I was thinking that myself when I looked at it. It would be very appropriate on the MDD. Small bust is perfect on the DDS for girls who are slim on top.

 

That is just...sigh.

I guess always look at the bright side. Most cloths will fit her chest area without struggeling to put it on

well in term of anime I like Pettanko character

Actually most clothes will be too large/baggy on her and won't fit well at all. Plus, with a one-piece torso there is no chance of changing the bust piece.

Well, I'd think that obitsu 50cm stuff would fit her pretty easily. It looks like the 48's chest.

D: if anyone wants chihaya's surfboard body i'll probably sell mine >_
