Hpyon Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) I thought it was going to be a double doll loot day with a package from Korea and China waiting for me in the postal office, but the latter ended up being cosplay wigs. However, the aforementioned was my test order from the Korean dollclothes store nine9style and I as well as Mimori were very pleased with the contents! Most of the clothes themselves were a little expensive for my tastes, but I got a sweet vest+dress combo. However, they had plenty of reasonably priced accessories, so I got a couple hairbands and hats and a muffler that probably won't see much use yet in the middle of the summer and now there's still something to look forward to with the other clothes package that's still on the way, I'll post that here too once it arrives. It's an awesome accessory It's actually not anything doll-specific, just something that's been laying around for a long while and finally found some use as Mimori's necklace. But nine9style does have a very similar pendant for sale. Another package landed home today, this time from Alice's collections, with a skirt and blouse set, a sweater, shoes, a shirt for Haruhi and a couple of those doll-sized Macbooks they had as event items, haha! The blouse was a bit loose so I swapped the M-bust piece back temporarily and while taking poor Mimorin apart also tried to straighten out the internal frame a bit - her hip piece is somehow crooked so she can't stand completely straight. I'll have to reseach disassembly and take a proper look at that later. The sweater was for an SD13 boy, but it does fit a DD girl pretty nice, as well! Browsing the 9style catalog with Harunyan. It's a fun bonus from them - doubles as both an ad for the company and an accessory for the dolls! I like it. Despite having completely different kinds of expressions, they go so well together! Hpyon Posted July 22, 2013 I tried experimenting with highkey stuff using my monitor as a bright backdrop today, but that didn't go very well, the monitor's still a bit too small for dollfie size and just bouncing the flash created a bit too rough lighting. Ordered a $2 softbox from China though, maybe with that it'll work better once that arrives home.
