Bouncing_Tigger Posted July 12, 2013 Hi Everyone! Here's my first attempt at telling a small story about the arrival of my girl. I am not a photographer so please don't expect much from my pictures. I am also not an author so please don't expect much from my story. My girl's name is....well...um.....you'll see what happened when she arrived.... ??Hello?? Is anyone out there? ??Where am I? Hi Sweetie! I'm so excited that you have finally come home! You're HOME!!! Home? I'm home? Well here I am...finally!! It felt like it took me forever to get here!! It felt like forever for me, too!! So what's your name, baby? I'm so glad to be home, but... But what? ...but I'm not telling you my name until we get a few things sorted out! What do you mean "sorted out"? Well…I guess I’m not really very happy right now. Not happy?!? Why aren’t you happy? What’s the matter? I can’t see anything! I have NO EYES!!! …and NO HAIR, either!!! And why am I so cold? OMGoodness!!!! I’M NAKED!!!!!!!!!! I’m working on it! I’m working on it! Just give me a minute! You have to be patient with me. I’m new to all of this! BUT I'M COLD!!! OK, OK…I can fix that right now! Here, put this on. Better now? Oooo! I’m so snuggly and warm now! Thank you momma! So will you tell me your name now? NO! I still don’t have any hair!! Just hang on a sec… Oh! Pretty, curly, long hair! I love it!! I was afraid to hope that I would have ponytails, but I DO! Curly ponytails!!! HURRAY! So now you’ll tell me your name? NO! I still can’t see anything and I don’t think I have a real face! Well, that’s going to take me a bit longer to figure out, but in the meantime… I think maybe you must be tired from your long trip and its making you a bit crabby. CRABBY!!???!!! I AM NOT CRABBY! Why don’t you take a bit of a nap? I’m sure you’ll feel better once you have rested up. Nap? I don’t need a nap! I’m not a baby…but my new sleeping bag does look kinda comfy. Hmmm….maybe I’ll just rest for a few minutes… Um, Momma? Yes, dear? You know, as much as I like my new bed, it isn’t very soft…In fact, it’s kinda hard... Hard? Hmmm…I don’t have an actual bed for you yet…but how about sleeping in a hammock for now? A hammock? WHEEEEEEEEEEEE! This is fun!!!!! Hey! You’re supposed to be going to sleep, not playing!! OK, Momma. I guess I am a tiny bit tired…and this is really comfy! But when I wake up, I WILL have a face and eyes, right? Yes…at least I’ll do my best! …and once you do, you will tell me your name, right? Maybe…probably…I'll let you know once I can see my face...nighty night for now. And so it begins…. ...to be continued...

Bouncing_Tigger Posted July 14, 2013 Really creative way to do an intro post! Any idea when she will wake up? ^^' Well...I'm on holidays for the next week or so and I bravely let my husband do the first couple of Mr. Super Clear coatings on her head this afternoon. That means that technically, I guess, she is 'good to go!' Now all I need is to calm my nerves enough so my hands don't shake in order to start doing her face! In the meantime, I've been making her a few outfits so that she'll be ready to "formally" introduce herself once her faceup is done. (I have a feeling that she is going to like playing 'dress-up' so it should be interesting!)
