It’s fun to work on a more graphic and retro anime style faceup – I don’t typically use pure black paint in my faceups but this one called for it. jadepixel Posted October 1, 2021 One more faceup before I take a break - I revamped an old custom DDH-01 head with a new faceup and open mouth mod. I didn't originally plan to do anything fancy, but when I was sanding down the nose I found an air bubble and ended up doing a very tiny nose + kitty mouth to compensate. jadepixel Posted March 27, 2022 Time for another batch of faceups! First up is Rina Ogata, I picked up her blank head from Mandarake and gave her a nice spa treatment and new faceup. I wanted her to have a more mature or big sister kind of look. Next I did a colorful fantasy faceup for SWS DDH-27, who's taking over the androgynous MDD body I just acquired. Last but not least, Yukiho! This girl was on my wishlist for ages and I finally got a decently priced head. I repainted my SQ Lab Miyuki head - it's an older artist-made resin head that matches DD Flesh, so she's using an MDD body. I also painted a tan Shoushou Doll Niko!
