Butterflies & Hurricanes (mildly nsfw, wall of pictures)

Backstory:

 

Well, i've been listening to this song Butterflies & Hurricanes by Muse perhaps a little too much, and sometimes when I listen to various bits of pop, I tend to get story ideas, and such was the case with this song.

 

In my little noodle of a brain I conjured up a epic tale of kidnapping, a dashing rescue effort, epic swordfights, and whatnot other climax inducing things... Unfortunatly such things tend to be a bit of a logistical effort of unobtanium degree that I decided not to go with the big version of the idea.

 

But today I managed a downscaled version of the basic setup, where a slightly melancholy doll becomes something else in order to move on... (with whatever).

 

No witty dialogue this time, and as such its a silent story (but I might suggest listening to the song to see what I was on about... )

 

NSFW tag due to minor nudity within the change of looks.. oh and this was a admission into the roumored "naughty box"...

The "legend of billie jean" homage bit was the trickiest ... its a bit of an awkward movement concept to begin with when you try to imagine doing it yourself with the wrist either way.

 

But since I didnt want to actually chop up a wig for this, I could cheat right into the final look, where how well the short volks shaggy wolf wig matches the alice collections one (i think it was this make?) adds to the effect.

That's one way to do a story and have it work well. Great photos! So many nice poses in there, I especially liked the photo where you can see her eyes reflected in the sword. That had to have taken some time to get worked out!

 

The haircutting bit was neat too, it's kind of an anime staple too when big changes occur for a character. I've never seen it done with DD's tho, nice job!

 

As for her "naughty" outfit, I really like it! Altho, it really just being a bikini top and pants doesn't make it all that naughty in my book. But my book is pretty naughty in the first place....

Its actually inspired by orzkf's (naughty doll pictures warning) shoots, who likes to play with mirrors in this sense.

mmm.. its relatively tame, if you take out the matrix'ish vinyl & pvc look out of the equasion.

 

I think the most outrageous thing in the "naughty box" as I call the one with all the pvc and vinyl gear, is that anchient Volks bondage outfit that came with my yukino five years back.

 

But it was fun conjuring up this getup non the less. The jacket beeing something I hadnt even used before, in the four or so years its been laying around in the box waiting. Then again I did have to get the bikini set just recently to make the whole up.. heh.
