I am actually not from the stars, nor your nearest Subaru car dealership. I'm actually from the Southern California area! (´･ω･`)

 

I have been enjoying resin BJDs for some years! Recently each of my trips to the Volks USA showroom has sparked an interest in Dollie Dreams, and left me craving some vinyl. In the beginning I kept a distance from DDs because of the fear of staining by dark colors.

 

Suddenly I find myself working on a project! I purchased a DDH-01 on a whim! (body-less at the time.) I wanted to modify the mouth and maybe open up the eyes a little. Unfortunately I've come across a roadblock due to a air bubble that I discovered in the very tip of the nose.

Oh Wow! What I wouldn't give to be able to visit Volks USA even once...let alone make "trips"!! I know that my wallet (and my husband) would shudder if I ever got to the actual store but it would be soooo worth it because their shipping charges to Canada are scary! Maybe when I retire I can convince my hubby that a nice 'vacation' to California is a good idea Anyhow...welcome you lucky ducky living close enough to visit the store!!
