Pictures of Luka(Out of Base N-04)

I finally got my N-04 head painted and by Chien on this forum. Right now she's waiting for her new clothes(stuck in customs), but I made a bikini for her so she wouldn't be completely naked when she arrived. I couldn't resist taking some photos by the pool. She's a Out of Base(it's a doujin circle in Japan that usually makes garage kits) N-04 resin head on a DDdy body.

Oh wow I really love the shape of her face as well as her eyes. This doujin circle did a really nice job with sculpting this head And of course chien did a great job with the face-up! I'm actually picking up my Custom DDH-01 head later today from her Hurray for getting our custom girls Super sexy swimsuit you made for her as well

And for being on the cheap side of molds, the resin is really close matching to the DD vinyl. Although they sell them "raw", you have to sand down seamlines and uneven parts by yourself. But I love their style. I'm considering to maybe buy the N-03 head in the future if they still make them by then. And I'm really happy with Chien's face-up job.

She is lovely. Her sculpted is so nice could you link me to the shop please I would like to have a look at there other sculps. (on the iPod and can't find them my self online). Thank you ^^

They are fasten with magnets(like many resin heads), but you have to buy the magnets and glue them yourself. But there are holes already drilled into the cap and faceplate that can fit smaller magnets. Although they are a bit deep, at least on my girl, so I could have fitted two magnets on top of each other without problem.

 

Thanks. ^^ I wanted to have her cool and serious looking. I was afraid that the mold would easily look too grumpy for my taste(like Standard doll Aoi's factory face-up does), but Chien did a great job on avoiding that.

Thanks. ^^ Out of Base usually sells their molds on conventions, but you can order three of the molds of the 60cm head line(N-type) on their webpage. http://www.nunu.tv/ec/

Please notice that they only do mail order inside of Japan, so you need a proxy that can do mail orders. I used Japonica and got her for approximately a total of 5000 yen(head+shipping+fees).

You'll need a proxy service for Dollce too.

Thank you for the links . I just wanted to see what sculps they had still looking for the best sculpted for my custom Gaara. I do love what you have done with your girl. What I would like I ask as I hope his does not sound rude but her neck is a little big for the head (from the angel of the photo.) are you going to be working on that( modifying and so on) or are yu happy with it?

OoB's heads are a bit smaller than normal DD's hence her neck could look a bit bigger, but her neck doesn't look big to me in real life. I can see in one photo what you mean, but that's probably more the angle. So no, I'm not going to mod the neck anymore than I already done(had to sand down the neckpeg because it was too big for her). I like the more "normal" proportions on her, but that's my preferences.

Cool ok must be the angel. As long as you are happy that's all that matters look for worked to seeing more of her.

Thanks for the info! Now that I have a better idea of what I'm getting into, I actually went to Doll-ce and snagged an M-02. Glad I did since she's listed as sold out now. . .Thanks for your enabler-fu! Poor girl's going to be bodyless for a while though.
