Does Nanami's default wig stain?

Hello!!

 

Just a quick question, I'm about to start using Nanami's default wig for a project I've been working on but was wondering if anyone knows if it stains??? Its too right to fit a wig cap underneath but I'm worried of damaging my girl....

 

Any information would be appreciated

I seem to recall reading something about her wig staining... can't remember where though.

That wig definately stains and quite badly at that. The wig fits very tightly on Nanami's head which makes it such a bad stainer. Currently my Nanami is undergoing treatment and I plan to try to get a headcap underneath her wig this time around.

Bugger >_< I will have to attempt it again, I was trying to get a wig-cap under it for about an hour yesterday >_<

has anyone ever attempted lining a wig cap with something like white masking tape?

 

becasue the wig is so tight it just wont fit on with a wig cap >_<

I've seen someone use strips of fabric medical/sports tape on a wig cap before. They cut several small strips and placed it inside the wig cap covering all dark parts that may stain.

 

That could be worth a go?

I tried white duct tape once, but it didn't stretch so the wig would not fit as well, and I worried about getting tape adhesive on my DD's head.

I tried it with a few different types of white tape and with thin bandage last night but just can't make it work >_< think my project may have to be abandoned ):

I wonder whether the little socks you use to try on shoes would work.

Just for future reference, I was able to get Nanami's wig on with a Volks wigcap underneath. It actually wasn't as hard as I thought it would be!

Not every wig will go on with a wig cap under. It depends on the size of the head, and how much of the back of the head needs covered on that particular girl. I had the same problem trying SB Sakuya's wig on other heads. No matter what I did I couldn't get it over a wig cap as well.

That's a good point >_< I wonder if Sakuno's head is larger than Nanami's :/ how irritating!! (Thankyou for your message though)
