couple shots of my Mariko ^_^

I feel horrible that I've barely taken any photos since I began collecting Dollfie Dreams earlier this year. ^^;

Since last Sunday till yesterday, I was bed-ridden with horrible back pain, but after a trip to the chiropractor, I feel much better, and decided to get off my butt and take some shots of my girls! Only had time tonight to do my favorite girl, my Mariko named Yuki.

Funny story about the hat- she has a volks wig on, and the wig cap shows soooo horribly through the wig, but I love the color on her. I decided to kinda make it part of her story that she wears hats because she's shy, and it's kinda like her "security blanket".

 

-I recently won Mariko student version from Volks USA, so Yuki will have a twin! I plan to make her twin polar opposite- very outgoing and loud XD

Awww! She looks so sweet! I like the hat on her, it adds to her cuteness! And her story of being shy and wearing hats due to that is a neat way to cover the wig issues. That's a really good idea.

 

And I also think it's hilarious that *I* take more photos of your girls than YOU do! Every meet I've been to with you and your hubby, I'm the one snatching your girls away to take pics. One of these days you guys will have to do your own pics so I can get back to doing pics of my own girls!

I love that hat. It's just too funny! And then having it on Mariko Sensei makes it really adorable! I can agree with you that twin DD are definitely fun. Rainie is my loud mouthed, energetic one, and Ringo is quiet but still speaks her mind in her own way. Personally I find doll photography much easier than people who won't sit still.
