Waiting for auction/lottery results support group!

Things are looking bleak as I go to bed tonight! I have my alarm set, and I'm praying that the auction doesn't go above what I can afford (no more than 15k or so for a non-limited head ;.; ).

 

How do you all deal with the agonizing wait? Any tips for last second sniping?

I mostly go for "Buy it now" if I think, that the price is fair.

I won SQ Lab head at auction but I was lucky, that no one bid higher than me.

Well, Y!J doesn't allow sniping, in most cases. Every bid extends the auction to 10 minutes, so in the end wins the person, who bid the highest price...

And in meantime I refresh the browser every minute (or even faster), I gnash my teeth, tear hair from my head, chew my nails and nothing helps

I'd put my max and count on luck. You never know, how much more someone can outbid You, so it's really never "only 100 yen" because then You can pay some ridiculous amounts of money...

Alright, I'll put my max... I'm so nervous! I did read "automatic extension", but I just thought that meant that if it didn't sell for some sort of reserve fee, the auction extended.

Outbid instantly... I'll have to stick to buy it now, it seems. Still, at least now I can sleep instead of anxiously going to bid in the morning and finding out someone had their max price set way up there! (I did go up another few thousand just to see, and sure enough he still was there...)
