littlebearries Posted July 16, 2011 This is a thread for pictures showing your girls wearing non-DD clothing... this way maybe people will be able to get a better idea of what does and doesn't fit, when trying to order clothes. Each picture should be accompanied by the following info: 1. Type of DD body you have modeling the outft 2. Brand of clothing (preferably with a link to the website it can be purchased at) 3. Doll size it was intended for (ie, Soom Super Gem, Volks SD10 girl, etc etc) I will start! 1. Model: Dollfie Dream Dynamite Alna 2. Dollheart: http://www.dollheart.com/ (can also purchase outfits from Denver Doll, and they have layaway for purchases over $100: http://www.denverdoll.com/dollheart.php ) 3. SD13 BOY Yes, you read right... SD13 boy clothes fit the DD body pretty well! The only thing that could use some modding is the under shirt... it could be made a little more shapely, but heck, even that fits pretty darn well.
Talolili Posted July 17, 2011 This is a good idea. That's why I added the tips on the 18 inch clothes. Sometimes Volks clothing can be pretty overpriced, but I like to buy mass produced and homemade bjd clothes too (I also have a cute Another Space dress that my Azumi loves). Anything that fits! Talolili Posted July 17, 2011 Now if only I could figure out how to attach images to the forum. It's silly but I really don't know how. Can anyone help?
littlebearries Posted July 17, 2011 Now if only I could figure out how to attach images to the forum. It's silly but I really don't know how. Can anyone help? I had to ask too, lol... Do you have a flickr account? In flickr, click on the image you want to add until you see all the size views of it, then pick one where the max size (height or width) is 650 pixels, and right click on it, then select the "Copy Image Location" option. Then come back here, click on the little "Img" tag that you can see right up above the field you type in when you post or make a reply, then paste the Image Location in (Ctrl V) And there you go! You've posted a picture!!!
Talolili Posted July 17, 2011 Hmm. I never get the option to Copy the image's location, only copy. I added a few pictures in the database though, but they're small. Edit: I finally figured it all out and it was pretty easy to add and resize pics. Thanks to all of those who helped.
littlebearries Posted July 17, 2011 You have to go all the way to a specific size selection, or it doesn't work... it will ask if you want to view different sizes, then when you click on that, you have to click on one of the sizes, THEN right click on the picture to get that option... should be about the third one down. mitsuki Posted July 26, 2011 1. DDdy Kanu (Kagura-chan) 2. KK Workshop (http://stores.ebay.com/KK-WORKSHOP-SD-OUTFIT-STORE/KK-WORKSHOP-SD-OUTFIT-/_i.html?_fsub=18&_sid=44169641&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322) 3. SD13 Girl I got this outfit a long time ago before the DDdy body was released. It is really loose on the DDII even with the L-bust, but I kept it. It works nicely for the DDdy body. I have other outfits from KK Workshop that fit the DDII body well, so it is hard to tell which body type will work well. Luckily, I have lots of girls of different body types willing to try on new outfits.

PrettyCranium Posted August 7, 2011 Here's Tamaki (L Bust DDII body) in Dollmore's Ralhalla dress. Made for SD size: P1020676 by PrettyCranium, on Flickr Also fits M-bust: P1010974 by PrettyCranium, on Flickr Iplehouse YID girls clothes fit M-bust DDs. Likely will not fit a larger bust. The skirts are a little loose, they might fit properly on a DDdy but I don't have one to try it out on. Suzume in an Iplehouse YID set. Note the skirt sits a little low: P1020003 by PrettyCranium, on Flickr Sayomi (M-bust, SQ-Labs head) wearing an Iplehouse YID shirt. Traveller Posted August 7, 2011 Jeans that'll fit on DD? Can you post a couple more pictures please? I'll second that request. My Daughter is currently wearing jeans that are about an inch to big on the waist, so i'll be interested in finding some that dit a DDII body.
PrettyCranium Posted August 7, 2011 Hmm, I'll post more pics, but I don't think have any of the waist where it's not covered. If I remember, it is loose at the waist but not an inch loose! The legs and thighs fit well. I can measure the waist size if you guys want. More pics. I'll check my hard drive for ones that I didn't post to Flickr that might also show the waist. P1020016 by PrettyCranium, on Flickr P1020009 by PrettyCranium, on Flickr If you look at the second pic, I think you can see that the jeans are a bit loose under the shirt. Sayomi (M-bust, SQ-Labs head) wearing an Iplehouse YID shirt. Skirt from Cool Cat, leg warmers from Dollmore: ... That skirt looks great sitting that low! And Sayomi's outfit is absolutely adorable! It looks a lot like a outfit I once saw at an H&M and wanted to try out once I adopt my first daughter, except that one has a dark violet solid-color skirt, dark violet bow, and dark violet headband. Traveller Posted August 8, 2011 I think I've found my problem with my jeans is that I pushed jeans for a 68cm BJD doll when I sxhould had been looking at a smalled size like SD16 (if i am right) Other than that the jeans are a nice fir on Sae except for the gap around the top which when pinched to one side is approx an inch as mentioned earlier. Traveller Posted August 14, 2011 Natalie at Doffie World pointed the the Azone jeans, so I am waiting to hear from her to confirm that the Jeans are in stock. Natalie also did stock Azone shorts, but were out of stock so I'll have to look somewhere else.
jadepixel Posted August 17, 2011 I got a couple outfits from Alice's Collections (http://www.alicescollections.com) The fit isn't bad - socks and shoes fit well, but boots are a bit tight at the ankle joint. Skirts have plenty of room and ride a little low. Blouses are best suited to L-bust but a little looser than I like at the waist. Some items might fit DDy but not all will fit. Most of the clothes I got had big ribbon bows on them, too big for DD really. They are easy to remove, however. chun Posted August 18, 2011 a while back I got to do a swap with a friend who make really nice blythe clothes, she included a hoodie style hat which she knitted and surprised me with a hand stitched applique of my puppy mascot on it! After having my blythe doll wear it I had to get my girl with the biggest head -- Nyanko try it out, and it does kinda fit LOL! Take note tho, not all Blythe hats will fit DDs ^^;
PrettyCranium Posted August 18, 2011 Ahhh, the Puppy hat is so cute! I hadn't thought of appliqués. Hmmm . . .
