Choppi Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) Hi! I have been watching this Maria Ushiromiya get relisted over and over again, but I'm getting so desperate to find one that I may just end up buying it. It's 118,000 yen. A hefty price, I know, but like I said, I can't stand these agonizing months of hunting for one anymore. So my question is: Is this not too far off from her current going rate? I'd feel better about it if it was only a little over. I've recently seen two Marias sell last month. The first one for 105,000 yen (didn't buy because the eyes were slipping out according to the description and I thought she'd be common to find ((HAHA no.))) The second one went for 85,000 yen, but it had Sakutaro in bad shape which is why I stopped bidding. The price isn't the only thing that concerns me. By the description I'm assuming that this Maria (and Sakutaro) is a perfect condition, unused product, but the listing is set as "used". What do you think? Also! I was in a complete panic after searching Taobao on a whim and finding so many Marias, but they're all just as high priced and I'm terrified from buying from there anyhow (they're all over $1100). So that makes my case on buying this one stronger. So what should I do? Thanks for any help! I'd really appreciate any advice. I'm so torn! jadepixel Posted August 7, 2013 I've also been shopping for Maria for a while, but haven't yet pulled the trigger. A new Maria on auction usually goes for 60-66,000 but used or less complete ones could be had for much less. I'd hold off on anything more than 70k, the higher priced ones seem to be outliers. Good luck! jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
