I'm Calli. I'm new to the forum, and to Dollfie Dreams! I have collected resin dolls for years, and suddenly my husband told me that he wanted a Dollfie Dream. So we both dove into research and I ended up falling in love with them also!

 

My husband is also a huge Xenosaga fan, so he's really bummed about missing the last preorder/lotto. I am looking forward to seeing all of the customization options and what different people do with the dolls. I love customs.

 

Hopefully we will be adding a new girl to our home soon! (or more than one! )

What kind of resin dolls do you collect?

I mostly have Iplehouse and Soom dolls right now. Most of my dolls are larger (65+) but my favorite is an MSD Soom Mylo bunny. :3

Iplehouse and Soom make lovely dolls... Those were the first kinds of BJD I ever saw, but I had no idea what they were. I just saw random pictures on the internet. xD

Welcome Calli...and I agree that these girls are very easy to fall in love with! They are just so cute! Watch out, though. I only intended to ever own one and in a very short time I suddenly had two!! Now I'm afraid that I have to confess I'm working on/considering a third one! Somehow, one just seems lonely and that encourages you to get another one and then two seems to maybe be not quite enough...and so on, and so on, and so on!

Arienette: Yeah they are pretty! Volks actually was my intro to resin BJDs, so it's funny that I'm coming back to them, but now I'm more interested in the vinyl DDs.

 

Bouncing_Tigger: Thank you, and yes they are! And I can definitely see that happening with us already, and we don't have any yet... My husband really wants one and is seriously looking, and then of course I decided that she needs a sister. So now I'm seriously looking too.
