DDS and MSD clothing?

My friend has a 50cm obitsu and she says some MSD clothing can actually be worn on a DDS body ! I just wanted to see if it was true before I ask my girlfriend to get me any clothes for my new "surprise" girl ^_^

50cm Obitsu is quite different from DDS. I doubt you'd find much MSD clothing that fits DDS. The measurements are just too different.

When Volks makes clothes, most of the thing they make for DD also tend to fit DDS, but you'll notice on the MDD clothing listings that they aren't listed to also fit DDS. That's what I go with when wondering what size of cothing for the DD line. Obitsu is a whole 'nother can of worms.

Obitsu 50 = / = DDS, unfortunately. Obitsu 50 are kind of a lanky, scaled up 1/4 size, whereas DDS are more like a slightly shorter DD. SD size stuff is gonna be a much better bet for your DDS.

 

One guy in our local group has his Saber on a DDS, while another local has her Millhi on an Obitsu 50. (The guy with the Saber also has a VMF50, which uses the same internal frame as the Obitsu 50.) I'm trying to remember if the two dolls have ever been side-by-side at the same meetup. If I've got a shot buried somewhere I'll post it, but it's quite a few photos to dig through. ^^;

You can see that there's a lot more difference between the DDS and vmf50. Rinrin (vmf50) is actually wearing a MSD outfit, but it's rather short on her. No way that it would fit on a DDS.

It depends on the outfit;

 

If it's marked MDD S/M/L then it could fit a DDS with s bust.
