Help on Kos-Mos outfit/accessories cost breakdown

Knowing that Kos-Mos is approx $1,000 USD I've been trying to figure out how it all works out if I choose to sell everything except her head, both eyes, wig, and body. So according to her page that would leave:

 

Outfit/Armor-

Head Chains, Elastic Band for Head Accessories, Cropped Halter Top, Mini Dress, Arm Covers, Garter Belt, Socks, Panties, Leg Covers, Armor Parts, Clear Elastic Belt for Hip Accessories, Right Thigh Belt, Right Knee Belt

 

Weapons-

Handgun

Dragon Tooth

Marking Decals (?)

 

Hands-

Optional Hands for Hand Vulcans (Left/Right Set)

Optional Hand for Knife (Right Hand Only)

Optional Hand for Handgun (Right Hand Only)

 

I am still debating on if I would take her clothes out of the package simply for the sake of photographing her in her full set, but I was unsure if that would drop the potential price, or if it might stain my Kos-Mos. Opinions/advice about this would be helpful.

 

The handgun I know for a fact that I do not want. The Dragon Tooth depends a bit on the 'coolness factor' but even now I can't really think of a situation when I would find it more important to keep rather than letting it go to someone who wants it. I assume the decals are for the weapons, but I really have no idea.

 

The hands confuse me a bit because from what I can tell, they are all colored to go with her outfit, and not to match her skin. I really don't want my Kos-Mos being without hands, but unless they are a really specific color that could look like Victorian gloves, I have no use for them either. Ideally I'd sell them along with the weapons they are intended for, but again it depends a little on if I find them useful for a non Kos-Mos character.

 

In an ideal world I would just keep everything so her fullset would be intact, but I have so many other DD to finish that it seems like it would be a total waste to do so. It would be easiest to sell it all together but I know there are also people often looking for splits. I just really have no idea how to calculate the cost of what I want to offer once it gets here, especially since her head sculpt is where a lot of the 'value' goes on limited girls. Help!

and we are going 50/50. Its kos-mos's armour/weapons that make her so expensive to begin with, therefor its only fair the outfit/weapons make up a good chunk of the price

Do you happen to remember where they might be? I tried looking for them and had no luck, but that could be due to a 48 hour flu bug that I was fighting. Least fun I've had in a long time.

I can understand the logic of this, and it makes it a lot easier. But for me not understanding the actual breakdown makes part of my brain scream at me that it may not be fair.

 

Does anyone remember/have links to other similar splits for expensive limited girls? I know Kos-Mos is not the only rather expensive DD that Volks has released.

 

Still, with Volks outfits does the value drop if they have been taken out of their original package once, or do DD people not care that much? I'm still trying to weigh that against the 'value' of getting a full set of pictures. So far I'm still undecided, but I know that user pics like that can be highly important and useful for everyone else. When I have a mind to I can take obsessive amounts of pictures.

Here are some guesses:

 

$300 head

$300 body

$300-$350 outfit with armor (with Marking Decals?)

$50-$70 wig

$20-$30 red eyes

$20-$30 blue eyes

$15-$20 knife

$30-45 small hand gun

$100-$120 dragon tooth

$20 Optional Hands for Hand Vulcans (Left/Right Set)

$10 Optional Hand for Knife (Right Hand Only)

$10 Optional Hand for Handgun (Right Hand Only)

The split I arranged was 65/35 where I was paying 65% for head/both eyes/body.

 

So:

30% head, 30% body, 5% eyes.

I've never done a split and have yet to own any volks clothes except a pair of socks, but in my opinion, I wouldn't care if the outfit had been worn just once as long as there is no damage to it, such as stains, rips, or stretched out parts. Also, keep in mind that this outfit ONLY came with Kos-mos, so after some time, people will be willing to pay a good amount of money for it, regardless of it being worn once.

Of course, that's just my opinion on the matter, so others might not feel the same way. But I would like to see a few owner pics of Kos-mos myself. She looks so pretty in the Volks pictures.
