I know you won't be able to post pictures here in threads until after you have 20 or so posts but you can link to pics here with no problem. The white tank top she has on sure shows off her DDdy frame well, I really like that! Did you make that one? If so, good job! I want a couple for my girls! And that bunk bed is soooo cool! I have been wanting to make one of these for a bit now and had planned to start on it sometime after New Years. Seeing yours has made me want to do it even more now. That looks really cool. Since it's a bunk bed, does this mean May might be getting a sister sometime? Or does she plan to have some friends staying over? Thanks for sharing the pictures, May is indeed a very cute girl. The tunktop was the first top i made for May. it was made from the scrap i had from the body stocking i made her after i did her face up. As for the bunk bed i am not sure if it is the right bed for May. i am thinking of going all out for her new bed. That and i would like to make her a sofa so she can have some where to set. I wish I could sew so I could make clothes for my three. I didn't notice this before but are May's "pupils" painted? It looks like they are in a couple of the shots of her top. When i got May and i was puting her together i was trying for a anime/real look some where in the mid. When I get new things no mater what there are I like to put them to gether. That way it feels more like mine and not something I just go out and buy. That and if she gets sick i know how to take care of her. As for the sewing just give it a try it is not as hard as it looks. I would say start with a old shirt or two. that way you can get a feel for sewing. That and it is a very good skill to have. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
baldylox Posted December 23, 2010 Ah yes, I gotcha. I agree that making something your own is a big deal. I had actually thought about having a DDdy bust as a spare with painted "pupils" just to see what I thought about it. I've seen plenty of them done well and it works for the most part. I just don't know if doing that is for me and my girls or not. And since Yoko's bust doesn't even have "pupils" there's no question there. But I think in the future, I may have a spare Dddy bust done like that just to see how it looks. If I don't like it I can always remove the paint. Thanks for your info! About sewing, I have no idea where to even start! I guess I could ask my mom since she can do patches on clothes and such but I've never seen her do an entire shirt or anything before so I have no idea how far she could go with something.
