I've only heard of Dangan Ronpa through Tumblr, but she looks like she could turn out to be a cutie. I'll be in the back of the room watching this development closely, baha.

Ehh... I never got into that series, and I don't like the art style. Hopefully the DD version of this character will look nice...

Now THIS could be dangerous. I love Kirigiri. Wonder if they'll do a DD of you-know-who and give her a Monokuma plushie or something... mwuhaha.

 

EDIT: I just came back to say that Celestia would really lend herself well to DD form. She's so goth-loli that she DESERVES to be a doll, haha.

I don't believe that this is a hoax. It makes perfect sense since DR is in a popular place right now. If you follow Good Smile Company's Mikatan/Kahotan's blog they have done at least 2 or 3 entries about DR and rereleased goodies, A DR cafe and a few other things going on. So I believe the next girls could come from this series.

 

I know nothing about DR but after a quick google image search of all the female characters, I believe the girl with the Twin Tails will be made into a DD(I know thats not her on the image but they may release 2 girls). She looks Rise-ish and has the potential to have a great head mold like Rise. Plus, everyone loves twin tails. haha.

I dont know her, so i googled, but am not sure which ones the original images are, so can anyone post an original pic of her?

 

(I think i am save, because her eyes looks so angry in most pics?!?)

Ah cool, thanks for the Names. It was Junko I was talking about. She looks like she can have the same qualities as Rise did. Celestia is cute too.

Dangan Ronpa has a pretty large female cast so even if this isn't legit, Volks may license the anime in the future.

You can't just base your "It's not a hoax" on that it's a doll of a popular series. Then I could do a elaborate fake pic from any other popular series right now and by your logic it would be a real one.

 

Mikatan's blog is made for official announcements and reviews of GSC figures, this is not. It's a low res picture uploaded on an un-official group on FB by someone from Thailand who probably ain't working for Volks. It's even missing the usual ameblo waterstamps that at least Volks' blog is using(can't remember if their twitter versions also have the stamps). Plus the fact that this picture have not been uploaded anywhere else and Volks' doesn't seem to be handling this as a leak(which most companies would take seriously on if it was). And the person uploading this is not even claiming to have gotten this from Volks, just saying that he/she got the pic from someone else(who also doesn't seem to be working for Volks).
