baldylox Posted September 1, 2013 Heh, I remember when I was the only one with a DD at doll meets too! For a while there it was just me and Manami showing up, then Rei and Yoko. When I'd bring them along, all the resin people would want to check them out because no one had seen one in person at that time and they were vastly different from resins. Ahh the good old days. You look like you two had fun there, lots of dolls and owners too. That pic with Rise and the girl was very cool since both had big dresses and bi-colored hair, nice job! Keep on bringing Rise to meets, people will get more comfy with her and maybe buy their own DD's. That's what happened here locally.... more people got interested and finally adopted one for themselves. Then the vinyl fever sets in and more and more people start getting them! People at the meets i go too look and sometime touch/play but i dont think ive influencenced anyone to go DD shopping. Everyone has their own preference for the dolls they buy.
