Reputable Taobao store or not?

So I found this store selling limited girls and the prices aren't too extortionate, so I was wondering if anyone has ordered from their or can vouch for them.

Taobao sells in yuan, not yen. With that knowledge in mind, their prices are actually really high for some dolls, about on par for others. They also seem to have their own photos of some of the items, so it might be a good idea to take a chance, if you don't mind paying the price. (Also it seems they'll take a sort of layaway? In the description for Nia it mentions a deposit.) It's still a lot of money though, hahaha.

 

They do have some girls I've been looking for, I'm really tempted.

I'm hunting for Lily, and they have her at £1500 which is only two hundred more than I initially planned on spending on her. Which compared to Yahoo Japan and EBay is maybe twice her Taobao price. I can also get her and the others some nice clothes at the same time. :3

Lily doesn't seem to be in stock, I believe they are offering a shopping service and the price given is for reference only.

 

The shop hasn't really made enough sales for me to consider them trustworthy for such a large purchase.

According to the listing for Lily they have two in stock. But I'll show around first. I saw her with both swords and Avalon for the same price. I really can't read Chinese though so I could be wrong.

The stock level means nothing on taobao, a lot of sellers advertise sold out goods to get views.

From the description, it sounds like it's a shopping service only. Google translate:

"Spot" = "in stock" for every taobao shop I've ever purchased from, so "not the spot" means it's not actually in stock.

 

ETA: Also, every currency converter I've checked puts it closer to 1,750-1,800 GBP, not 1,500.

I think I'll abandon Taobao for now. They have some nice cosplay stuff I'll definitely get for her when I get her.

I'm very concerned with the reliability of Taobao sellers, it's because some of them are not reliable when selling goods that are small in value (things that look nothing in their products photos, sending the wrong items, sending damaged good etc.), so how about goods that are high in value like dolls...? On the other hand, there are any sellers that sell fake products on Taobao.

 

When purchasing expensive items like a doll, it's best to buy them from a reliable seller/store.
