VN55 has a gorgeous photo of Miku on the cover, as shown on the DD Blog. This one will probably be a keeper for folks just from that.

 

The issues will start getting mailed on Monday JST, so that's when I'd expect scans to start showing up on Twitter and such.

No, those were the DD Compilation and the DD Fanbook 1-3. I forget what we were talking about at the time, but those have the photos of all the DDs ever made and their stats.

 

It is possible to get any of those books and/or VN55 next time SnS does a group order.

I'm really looking foward to this issue. The cover is just beautiful.

Awesome! Looks like the 05 is going to be a standard head too?? Trust me, it's an awesome sculpt! I still think it would be a ton of fun getting a WS version and making a green alien. Hey wait, it could be Johnny Smith from Strangetown!

Heh, My Dear Vampire! Knew it couldn't be too long before that super-popular DLC outfit came out. Just in time for Halloween. Guess I already know that I'll be going to the DD Gathering then.

 

Now I don't feel so bad that I could never get Cherry Milk / Ginger Tea's Miku & Dear Vampire outfits at the dolls parties.

 

I don't have my VN55 since today is just the first day, but we'll see what fun news is inside once it arrives. There's usually more interesting tidbits that don't come out on twitter. I'm expecting Wednesday or Thursday for it to get here from Kyoto.

Those butler outfits and the office suits! Now I'm kinda regretting buying my flight attendant set for my girl. Hopefully I'll have money for these too.

Also that pengiun outfit.

I really like a lot of the outfits. As soon as I saw the butler outfit I though of Black Butler.

I'm definitely going to be ordering a copy of Volks News 55.

 

I'm going to be able to have a ws 05 head to paint without having to find Kyoko.

Two things I wanted out of idolm@sterxVolks collab were "My dear vampire" outfits and a Hibiki doll. Hope my luck is good in trying to acquire this dress set. It looks great.

I like that Volks is taking time to make really nice details in the outfits and dolls. Idolm@ster seems like it will be a long term winner for Volks.

 

Glad to see preassembled base bodies, Thats how it should have been to begin with. Finally making all the HDD heads available in all skin tones is also nice for all the customizers out there.

 

Outfits seem kind of on rehash/repeat to me? They look like old sets that have been slightly tweaked to seem new. Not too interested, but curious to see what extra info/items will pop up in more thorough scans and translations.

I want the idolm@ster vampire dress set.

 

When will these products launch? Will they be click war shopping basket events like the Dressy Alice Set?

Just blew up the pre-assembled upgraded bodies page and it seems that that awesome-ness is only for NS currently as per the specs. How disappointing. I wished they also announced pre-assembled DDS and DDIII WS bodies too but I guess for those who want those will have to wait a bit more sighhh . Someone please tell me I'm wrong and just thinking pessimistically lol

Just wondering, do the number of pages feel thin to anyone else? I thought the wigs were going to be announced in this issue for example.

Does anyone know if it mentions whether Miku is pay on order or pay after realese in the issue? There's a two page spread about her but I can't read Japanese so that doesn't help me too much.
