Lots of Fun

Soooo, I'm really behind on uploading pictures. And I mean really behind, since I have pictures from April that no one's seen yet but me. So I'm making this thread, and I'll be adding more at various points as I finish processing them. Contrary to how it seems, I have been taking photos this year, I just haven't shared them yet.

 

This first group was from April. My husband used to work down in Texas, and his car was down there. He had driven it down, and then he'd fly back and forth to work. He worked on drilling rigs, so he'd be gone for weeks to over a month at a time. Anyways, he got transferred out of that area, so we went to retrieve his car. We flew down and then drove it back up. I brought Akira along with me to keep me company.

 

 

 

These are at the Dallas airport, where I waited while hubby proceeded to San Antonio without me so we'd save money on that extra flight.

We didn't have a lot of time to stop along the way home since we wanted to get back within two days to save on hotel rooms. But we did get to do one cool thing- zip lining! Did you guys know that you can go zip lining through caves in the middle of Louisville?! There's a limestone quarry that runs right under some buildings, like a Wendy's and a K-mart. I could only take some photos mostly outside, and a couple at the beginning, since the caves weren't really lit. It was awesome, though, to go flying into a black abyss. Though some parts were a bit scary, like the tiny platform you stood on next to a huge drop, and the platform was only bolted into the limestone wall with nothing under it. There was a lady next to me that was so scared she was clinging to me.

This is the outside.

 

Here's the only well lit line, the first and smallest. That blur is my husband.

Akira: Oh no! Is that better? Well at least they're cute.

 

 

Tennessee really seemed nice, and had a lot of cool things that we would have stopped at, but the timing was bad. If we had stopped there it would have tacked an extra overnight on. Maybe someday...

These are really cute I love the one of her hand against the window with the planes! It reminds me of some type of sad scene where her love is leaving.

You are brave to take her out at the airport. I'm still shy about things like that >_<

Heh, she sure is good at playing the innocent girl isn't she? She knows she's adorable and seems to play it up quite well.... I approve!

Thank you! You don't need to be brave to have a doll out in public, just oblivious of others. I also took a nap there in broad daylight. At night they put out cots, but in the day there's only the chairs. I could hear people talking about me, but I didn't care.

Haha, yeah. She and Mitsuki are both like that. That's why they get along so well. Thanks on her wig. I originally bout it for Ayano to play with, but Akira claimed it as hers.

Thank you. Yeah, I love zip lining. We went once before in Hawaii, and now I go whenever I have the opportunity. The scared lady thought I was brave, but it was her first time.

This one is from Tekko X-2, my local anime con. I had Saber dressed up as herself, and she's being held by the very cute Chii Sakurabi. She moved to California from Japan, and she's a pop singer who dresses in lolita. She's so nice. Anyone that bought her merchandise not only got every piece signed by her, but they could each have a photo with her too. I'm camera shy, so Saber stepped in.

 

These ones are from May, when my friend who also has DDs stayed over. We decided to have a dolly sleepover as well. They feature my Akira and Ichigo, and her girl Kaori, who's a persocom.

Haha it's funny how that happens, no? You visit a city for a day and do things, but you live in a city for years and you don't do those tourist things. But you should go, Megacaverns is fun!

And now to add some more. These ones are from June, featuring Ichigo at my friend's pool.

Wow, Ichigo is just gorgeous! She's so cute chilling out at the pool. These shots are fantastic, and her hair is amazing! Did you style it yourself? I love it!!

Thank you. Yes I did style the wig a bit. It was originally this wig from Leeke. I just trimmed it a bunch and added kitty points.
