My Neris just arrived!

 

My package from Volks USA got here about an hour ago. I've already swapped her eyes with type D ruri-cons since tbh I wanted to cultivate a similar cute look Yuki DDs have.

My fingers sting! I had no real problem using a blow dryer to remove the eyes aside from that. It's a bit of a pain on your hands to do, but I wasn't willing to risk her paint job by using thinner. Would be just too nerve wracking for me. The eyes popped right out with some direct heat. The excess glue peeled out after is cooled down.

 

One thing I noticed right away is the size of her head... it's quite large in comparison to some of my other girls. She wears SD wigs with ease. I almost feel her standard DD M bust body is a bit undersized looking for the head LOL Might have to give her a chest swap or something ^_^;;

 

Now to figure out a name for her... (I don't want to leave her as 'Neris' since I'm swapping the eyes and not using her default wig or outfit.)

Congratulations! She looks great! That wig really suits her. What wig is that anyway? Does it come in a dark brown? Funny enough, I got the same type of eyes for my Neris and Airy. Might even be the same color.

Congrats, I'm glad she arrived safely. Nice choice in eyes and wig, I'm guessing that style of eye is going to be popular for Neris. I like the outfit she's wearing as well.

I think, Volks had to do such strange eyes probably because of Shining Hearts original art and license issues.

But they did a great job on the sculpt and created really pretty faces for these two girls.

I have to agree with the head size, thing. All my larger wigs fit her well. I should have gotten a DDdy body for her instead of her standard body, though. But, what is done is done. She's happy and that's all that matters.

She looks very nice lol, I've been thinking of ways to make mine look similar to Yuki as well. It's difficult to find dark brown eyes though.
