Nice to meet you!

Hi everyone, I apologize for not making an introductory post earlier. I wanted to try to get my stuff up for sale (I need the money to get special stuff for my girl)! Now that everything is up, I feel great! My name is Mason, I'm male and 20-years old. I got my first Dollfie Dream when I was 14, which was DD Yukino. Unfortunately, my mom threw her away, and I was a bit torn about it and hadn't gotten another one since. I've been to Tokyo three times and visited the Volks stores in Shibuya (or was it Shinjuku?), Yokohama, and one other place I can't remember (sorry). I realized that I could create my character Valkyria by using the Rise Kujikawa head as a base, so I sold my most precious possession to get her... it was worth it though! Valkyria is my OC that I created and is in a few of my stories and comics. She's based after me in a lot of ways. She's a very outgoing, kind girl who is naive about the world. She is very socially awkward, but she doesn't realize that things that she does are inappropriate, or why, due to her upbringing. She hasn't had much contact with other people, so her view of the world is distorted. She's very positive, but her views are unrealistic. She grew up reading fairy tales, and she applies the logic from those stories to real world situations. The story/comic I am working on with her I am in the process of making with my best friend, Lark. She's a very wonderful, beautiful, and talented girl!!! Her OC in the story is named Demyth, who we plan to make a DD of (it's a guy). I'm really looking forward to getting to meet everyone! I'm very friendly, I promise. I'm kind of new here, and so I hope my presence here isn't a bother to any of you. There are so many talented people here! Even though my introductory post is just now, I do have to say that I have asked several questions to the community, and thus far everyone has been nothing but nice. So thank you very much!

That is very sad that your mom threw away your Yukino. I am sorry that happened to you.

 

Your original character, Valkyria, seems very interesting and I enjoyed reading about her and her personality. Do you have any of your stories and comics online anywhere?

 

I'm also really interested in seeing your best friend's male DD whenever you get around to making him! I love seeing when people make their DD into males, it's always an interesting process and ends up looking incredible.

 

Don't worry, I highly doubt your presence here bothers anyone. You seem very nice and I can't wait to get to know you and your girl Valkyria!

I'll show you Valkyria's character design: That's just in a Pokemon trainer outfit I designed for fun, she's original, not in a Pokemon fan story. It's just kinda sketchy, not really a finished picture.

I don't have a webcomic up... not yet. But I will definitely inform when I do. 8D

 

The way that I'm doing the story is like this... I'm typing it all out in story format. So far I have about 170 pages of content... and we're only just getting into the story. xD

After we finish the probably 500+ pages of the written format, we'll be turning it into a comic. Then after we're finished with the comic, we'll make it into an animated series.

Wow, both of those drawings are really great! I love the Pokemon trainer one. I can totally see why Rise was a good head mold for Valkyria after looking at the drawings. She's really adorable and I like her character design very much.
