I hope the lottery is in June/July so we can all recuperate from the last lottery. SakuraSylph Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) Well damn. Apparently I'm going to have to take off work to go to Dolls Party 31 (Monday May 5th) after all! These are the two DDs for the next Dolpa. The announcement of Kanzaki Ranko totally overshadows Shibuya Rin; I figured Volks might do Ranko, but I can't believe that they actually are. And she looks great. Gothic Lolita? Yes, please. First release will be 5 May.. International Lottery for them will be somewhere around 19 May. S-Rin looks DD-M normal skin, comes in her idol outfit, and has the school uniform as the separate outfit. Ranko looks DDS-M semi-white, comes in her white angel outfit, and has the everyday gothic wear as her separate outfit. OhnoRaptors Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) What a terrible release time for me... Trying to convince a local friend to get Shiburin (popular fandom name for her) so I can get just Ranko and be happy. Haha... I'm glad they went with Ranko's more mature gothic look, like her original R card. After that she gets to look cuter and younger. [渚の天使/Beach Angel] outfit (beach because the SR card before this one is a bathing suit). Original R card that the DDS most resembles (but with toned down makeup). (the others were half in jest.. For anyone who wondered about them, Rin109 was after the very famous Shibuya 109 department store / landmark, called ichi-maru-kyuu. chibinezumi Posted April 4, 2014 Ranko's face looks like Chihaya's to me, but she is still really gorgeous! Could see her cosplaying as fairy/imp/sprite with that eye shape and pointed chin. The lips are so cute! Overall she is very well designed and will be coveted greatly. Rin seems too old to me. She looks a lot more mature than her character design, and not really liking her on the DDIII. Which I guess is safe for my moth eaten wallet! Do like the school uniform set. Though for me it's Rin's default and both of Ranko's--I like goth loli but have never really gone for school uniforms. As for the dolls themselves, meh. I like Rin's lips, but prefer Ranko's eyes, and the chins on both girls are a bit too pointy for any of the characters on my long-term project list. (I don't know IM@S at all so their default characters aren't much of a draw.) I did try bringing Ranko into PS to see if making her a blue-eyed platinum blond would make her feel like Elsa, but nope--lips too thin, face too long. . . .I really do want Rin's default, but I'm a little afraid of how much that thing'll cost in splits. ^^; Not to mention the lottery drama.
