finnleo Posted September 22, 2013 Well, finally managed another little story shoot. This time the theme would be a few ladies prepping for a proper dress dance. I was thinking of adding dialogue, but thaught partially out of lazyness, and partly artistic nature to let the pictures do the talking... not much to figure out what would be going on anyhow. The pictures got a bit washed out due to changed lighting between test shots and actual photos, thus messing my camera settings and tried fixing what was left to fix, but hope you like. As usual, omake servings at the end. Shall we dance...? dance000 dance001 dance002 dance003 dance004 dance005 dance006 dance007 dance008 dance009 dance010 dance011 dance012 dance013 dance014 dance015 dance016 dance017 dance018 dance019 dance020 dance021 dance022 dance023 dance024 dance025 dance026 dance027 dance028 dance029 dance030 dance031 dance032 The End Shall we dance...? Omake 1, meanwhile, elsewhere... dance033 Beatrice: You know, for a stubborn half elf, you're starting to get the hang of this... dance034 Melty: Letting go of somebodys butt can have mysterious results... witch. dance035 Beatrice: Awwww... you stingy little thing... dance036 Beatrice: But you do know the next song will be a tango...? Melty: Tango......? Omake 2: Bonus pictures: Full cast: dance037 The handsome girls test photo: misc017 Beatrice solo test photos: beatrice015 beatrice014 Premium Thigh: beatrice016 Saber solo: saber010 saber011 saber012 This time the corner stone of the story was the Saber Alter 2nd edition dress that I managed to get through auction awhile back, and Saber feeling a bit out of place in it. It is her first actual time in a ball gown. The dress still is quite fab, and im rather happy about finally getting my hands on it, since I couldnt manage the alter 2nd set for it back in the day of the preorders. But hope you enjoyed. Poofiemus Posted September 22, 2013 I love how clearly this reads even without dialogue! I know how hard that is to do, and you did it excellently here. They all are very nicely dressed, too! I am amazed you got her to stand like this without falling over. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

They all are very nicely dressed, too! mmm, I think having a clear storyboard in your mind helps the flow of things. The outfits are basicly the poshest I have In terms of formal wear. Melty does look a bit too small in the suit, but thats what Shino's initial reaction was for... But I still do like how dapper she looks in the suit. I am amazed you got her to stand like this without falling over. I think it looks much more dramatic than it actually is considering poses. If you look at where her head is considering her right foot, the biggest mass of her body is behind it, so it was just a case of sideways balance. As I've often said, to me, ankles are everything with poses, and Shino's old DD2 one's are still rather nice to work with. But not bad for a five year old lady without any major teaks to her frame. Ankles are very important when considering balance! An art professor actually told me this, and it's true, I'd never noticed before: when you're balanced, your weight-bearing ankle lines up with your neck! (Obviously there are exceptions, but when trying to pull off difficult balancing acts, it's true!)
