littlebearries Posted September 23, 2013 It's that time of year again! Welcome to the third annual Dollfie Dream Halloween Party! There are two different events going on here... see the red, bold text below to learn about each event. Event #1 PARTICIPATING IN THE PHOTO PARTY: I've changed this slightly from the last two years... This year, it's not only a costume party, but also a Halloween themed photo party! Maybe your girls want to carve pumpkins, or bake Halloween cookies, or pig out on candy corn!! Take pics of them enjoying the holiday in any way they see fit All are encouraged to come and show off! To join in on the Halloween party fun, simply post pics of your girls enjoying Halloween. Event #2 PARTICIPATING IN TRICK OR TREATING: Perhaps you'd also like to join our list of Trick-or-Treaters? Choose the number of people you'd like to Trick or Treat and then mail out Halloween Cards that are either tricks or treats!! (Nothing mean, please! An example of a trick could be a card with a skull or a rat, or something scary on it, an example of a treat could be a card with a candy corn, or jack-o-lantern or something yummy or cute on it... or a trick could have a riddle in it, while a treat has a joke, be creative!) To become a trick or treater: 1.**To Join Trick or Treating, you must enter by OCTOBER 1st** 2. Post on this thread that you'd like your girls to go trick-or-treating, and how many girls will be doing so. 3. Send me a PM with the address you'd like to receive cards at, along with how many cards you are willing to send out 4. Tricks or Treats must be mailed by OCTOBER 12th (this has been extended... take the time you need... addresses were a bit tougher to wrangle this time!) SisterKyoya Posted October 5, 2013 I really wanted to do this again this year but I just couldn't figure out the time to do it. I tried to tell myself that I could do it, and I even got a great pep talk too! But in the end I just couldn't manage it. I'm definitely in for Christmas though! Tama would not give me a moment's peace if we couldn't do that. He's already got most of Dec already booked with projects he wants to do. I'm still trying to figure out what to do for Halloween this year, and the kids have some ideas but I've just been in a bit of a picture taking funk that I really wish it would go away! katnaper Posted October 7, 2013 I'm kinda like SK in that I wasn't able to participate in this year's Halloween though I debated it with myself for a long time. I might try with some photos if I can though. Will quite possibly be participating on Christmas but that again depends on whether I'm recovered enough by then (which I hope I am since I want to take our annual DD family picture for Christmas).. It was really fun doing the Halloween Exchange last year, but work has been so busy because of the holidays (9-10 hour days at work) that I knew I wouldn't have time.
