I decided to make a Kazehaya Shouta from the Manga "Kimi Ni Todoke". Shouta would be lonely with out his Sawako, so it's a double Custom Project!

I am thinking.... DD05.. With a milder and more "cute" face-up

From the heads you've chosen for Sawako the best ones in my opinion are the SQ Labs Kirie head & the Volks DDH-05 Head. Both have the right eye shape if you're wanting to stay true to her character design (the other heads the eyes are too big for her). SQ Labs heads do run a bit smaller in size compared to a DD head (seen a few in person and comparisons online) and are made of resin so of course you need to take care in not dropping her

 

For Shouta of course the DDH-07 would be a natural choice especially after seeing all the wonderful DD boys that people have been creating with that sculpt. You could always pick a limited head, but that costs much more than a standard head depending on the limited head you pick out. But if you feel a limited head would work better and you can save up the money then all the better. For my limited head pick I think Mari from Evangelion would work well for his character:

I haven't forgotten Shouta! I've decided on an 07 Head. Theres been a lot of 07 males popping up, but it's the right head I think.

I'm thinking the Volks animatic eyes in Apricot will be a good match without going custom.

And I'm thinking they might be best for Shouta, And I might look for something with more glints/sparkles for Sawako.

 

OR. They can be Sawako's, and Get some Custom made for Shouta.

Update the Main post! My ersa Flora eyes arrived! And..... Volks restocked the 05 heads, so I grabbed one! it's been shipped already too !!!

Updated my main post - Subaru completed my heads and did a fantastic job on them!

They're now in shipping back to me >v<

 

I bought a Obitsu 55 Male for the body, and will trial the Obitsu 50 Female for the height differences when the heads arrive.

 

I bought wigs for both! XD So excited I have almost completed these two
