New faceups for my sisters girls!

I know I don't usually share too many pictures of my sisters girls but that's because I don't see them too often. She has two 04 head girls, one named Tsubaki that I gave her for Christmas 2 years ago, and another that used to be our friend Anne's girl.

 

Anne moved to Florida and she left her girl with my sister Amy. So far it's been over a year since Anne left and still no word on Anne wanting her girl back. We took this to mean that she's now officially Amy's girl so a change was in order.

 

Both girls were brought to the last meet I had at my place and handed over to Ebelkitty for new faceups. After a week, the girls were done and upgraded and I'm now happy to share their new looks with everyone!

 

First I'd like to thank Ebel for being so nice to my sister and doing an excellent job on her girls! Amy's WAY happy with them both!

 

Second, I'd like to share some pics with their old faceups for comparisons sake. I have a couple with two of my 04 girls so people can see how different these girls can look even using the same head. First up is a group shot of all four girls:

And here's a closeup of Tsubaki and Marleigh ( her old name ). Tsubaki was originally painted by DeadlyGambit, the same girl who did Miyuki and Manami. Marleigh was done by Littlebearries in a slightly resin/DD hybrid style that Anne really liked.

Here's Tsubaki with Miyuki. Tsubaki used to have way more color to her faceup but over time, it faded and she lost most of her blushing on her cheeks.

So after seeing how much of a difference it made on my girls after doing a new faceup, Amy wanted her girls redone too. I'm now happy to re-introduce Tsubaki and Marleigh with their updated looks! Tsubaki has the pink hair and Marleigh has the blonde hair.

As you might have noticed, the girls are basically mirror images of each other now. Amy wanted twins of a sort so she went with this style. Both girls have opposite eyebrows raised, just like Tsubaki used to have, as well as matching stars under their eyes. Amy also swapped out her old blue eyes for some custom green ones I had here as extras. Here's a closeup of Marleigh.

Amy is extremely happy with how her girls turned out, especially Marleigh. Neither of us were big fans of her previous faceup style as we both prefer the more anime stylings of the one she has now. After they got back here, we put them back together with their 04 cousins for more photos.

So there we have them, two redone girls looking awesome! It was great to see my sister excited about them again, she sometimes doesn't do much with them due to her work schedule and such. She still loves her girls but just wasn't feeling it lately. Now she's sparked back up and it's nice to see.

Heh, Amy has always liked my Manami and she is still her favorite of my girls. So once she started asking questions about DD's, I knew she'd eventually get one of her own. So I had Tsubaki made for her and gave her to Amy for Christmas. She had to deal with the DDI body for almost a year tho, I finally got her a proper DDII body later on last year. Amy really likes DD's and has come to several meetups before. Now I think she might actually come to more meets!

 

And yeah, I don't see your sister getting into DD's at all. Not quite her style.

She certainly does love them. And I hope she shows up more often too, I think she had more fun at the last meet than she let on.

 

That's great about the new 04 you plan for your sister! I know Amy and I really adore the 04's smiles and attitudes.

 

All the girls looks so different. I really love this about DD's that you can have the same head but so many different looks.

 

That's exactly why I showed Amy's girls with mine, so people can see how much of a difference you can get with only small changes to the faceups. So with Volks only having 4 basic blank heads available for so long, you can see why a lot of people are elated to see them releasing the 05,06 and 07's. With more heads available, there's more fun to be had!

Thanks! Ebelkitty does excellent work for sure. The stars were my sisters idea, she saw something similar on other girls Ebel had done and wanted something a little different for her girls.
