Oh man, I can already hear my wallet crying...

I want one, but knowing my luck I'd get the Teal on Music set. :/ Oh well, it's still fun to try.

still debating if i should get one but i always have bad luck with grab bags!

I've always wanted to get a grab bag, so I'm going to do what I can to be able to get one of these before the deadline.

I got a grab bag second hand, and though I don't know if everything she got in the bag was in it, I was really impressed and I want so badly to get a grab bag this time. Alas it isn't meant to be. ):

I'm tempted to enter this purely because I need the hat from the Eleanor set in my life. I know entering for just one item is silly though. I wonder if anyone else will get it? I sure hope so, I'd love some trades to arise out of all these lucky bags.

I'm thinking about it too. There is a bigger pool this time where your items can come from, which may be a good or bad thing!

Has anyone else received theirs yet? Mine just arrived.

 

It included the robe, panties and stockings from the Music of the Night set. I wouldn't have been too interested from the website pictures, but they're absolutely lovely in person. The robe is just so flowy and gorgeous. It's more sheer than the web photos make it look. It'd be great for backlit pictures and elegant loungewear sets.

 

I also got the Jazmyne hat and Jeanette blue dress. They're nice, but I've seen a lot of people get them (plus the wig I received) in past lucky packs so I'd be hesitant to grab a new one. I got the belt and earmuffs from Jacquelin. I love the earmuffs. I can't find the shoes I got. They're similar to DS000007 but white instead of pink. They're cute, but the I like the pink version more because of the contrast with the lace.

 

I can't find the wig I got anywhere on the site. It's a light purple bob wig, with two long locks on the top that are made into pigtails. The upper halves are braided, lower halves are in a single ringlet with big red bows at the end of the braid. It's good quality, but kind of awkward and not my taste. I don't have a wig this shade though, so it's got that going for it. It's the same one Ekidonia received earlier in the thread, but the braids are kind of masked by the hat in those pictures.

 

The earmuffs and the robe are probably my favourite items from the set. I think I'll be restyling the wig (normal pigtails or a pair of buns, or maybe just trim it into a plain bob...) and removing the bow from the earmuffs so they match a wider range of clothing. Overall I'm pretty happy with the set. There's nothing that I actively dislike and I enjoy the anticipation of lucky packs.

I'm buying mine when I get home today!

But I'm a little picky when it comes to DD clothes and wigs, so I'm sure there will be things I want to trade. I'm thinking of sharing what I get here and linking it to a separate WTT thread in the sale section. I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes!

I thought these ended earlier in September! I will definitely be asking husband if I can buy a couple as soon as he gets home!

WTT thread would be great. I got an SD13 and DDDy bag. Parts of it I can't use

I was going to make the WTT just for myself, but do you all think a thread for everyone would be better? Where would be the best place to put that?

I'm not sure, I got mine within two weeks of ordering, but they never actually sent me an email to tell me it was shipped. Lol, I didn't even know it would come that early. Since it said "September pre-order" I thought I'd be waiting until September.

Ordered mine on 08/12/14, they were shipped 08/21/14 and delivered 08/25/14.

Ahhh I was bad and I ordered two! Luckily for me Mint On Card had 3 in stock so I saved some money ordering from them. Saved myself some time, too! I ordered Tuesday I think and they shipped Thursday, so quite pleased with that. They'll probably beat me home!

 

So if anyone is sad they missed out Mint On Card still had 1 DDM in stock last I checked! They also had DDY but I didn't check how many of those they had.

 

EDIT: I just checked and they are out of the DDM, but still have DDY in stock. Sorry about that.

CHA CHAM! My bag is finally here!

This is my first lucky bag ever, and I've always wanted one, so I'm super excited! Let the opening commence~

When I finally ordered mine, I scoured the internet for examples of what's inside and really liked the pretty bags that the items come in. So you can only imagine my excitement when I opened my box and found a bag made from the Shroud of Turin.

 

Oh well, no biggie.

First up is a pair of boots!

Platform soles are not my favorite look and looking at the site, I would have preferred the all white version, but the quality on these is super awesome, so I just have to make them work. They zip up in the back and fit perfectly. Also I'm sure Celeste is happy to have more than one pair of shoes now.

It's dark brown with pretty waves. The headcap is nice and stretchy too!

However, Celeste is my forever red head, so this is not something I'm looking to keep.

Very unique and I like it, but I'll need to be careful since it's a tad too short on the...shorter side.

Also, there is no lining on the waist part of the dress which is black inside.

I didn't take time to look for them on the site because they're interesting. Both have clips on the back, so I'm assuming they're hair ornaments to wear with pigtails. They wouldn't work for Celeste, but I think they can for planned girl #2.

Undies!

I wasn't expecting these, so it was a nice surprise. Glad to see that Dollheart covers all their bases.

Of course, it's not like Celeste was in need of new underwear, I mean these aren't nearly as nice as the lacy ones I made from old t shirts... Oh who am I kidding?! These are so nice and fit her super well! *weeps*

Yet another thing from the Jaquelin set is the earmuffs! This is something I wouldn't have thought to get on my own, so I'm happy to have them. The pearl detail is also cute, and they're oh so fluffy.

Very pretty, but I do wish they reached higher than the knee since they look like lingerie being knee length(although that could be a good thing depending on who you are XD). Just a minor complaint though since I've been wanting to make something like this for Celeste anyway.

So for a recap, we have:

A pair of boots, a skirt, a wig, detached sleeves, a skirt, a shirt, earmuffs, a cape, and stockings!

 

I'm super happy to have been able to get a lucky bag since not only did it make for a fun surprise, but Celeste was able to get some new items that I would have been unable to or never have thought to make.

 

Since this bag ended up being so good, the only thing I want to trade is the wig! I started a WTT topic for it in the marketplace where you can see what I'm looking to trade it for: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11157

We got several of the same items! I got that same skirt, earmuffs and stockings! They seem to give out Jaquelin pieces like candy, I also have a few other pieces from that set. I love the shoes and wig that you got!

 

I got this pair of shoes, but I already had them, as well as some other duplicates. I also got this weird ribbon with tiny little safety pins attached. I couldn't find what set it was from on Dollheart, so if anyone knows what it is please tell me! D:

Looking back at the Jaquelin set, I like it a lot too! I wish I'd gotten the belt like someone else in the thread did.

This stuff is cute I kind of want one now...

Normally blind boxes and things dont appeal to me, I do my best trying to peak inside, or feel or shake it to get the specific item I want. These items are really cute though, and I'm actually liking the elements of surprise here.

Looks like more lucky bags are up for preorder. Gonna grab a DDdy one as I find that acquiring nice quality items that fit DDdy is tricky at times!
