DD Gathering 2013 + October Collection [19th Oct]

I'd really prefer the lottery system for stuff like those Vampire sets, it wouldve evened out the playing field.

I feel like it did originally say 10am on the international site too. I was pretty sure that was the time and was even camping out for it. It wasn't until I saw the banner when I thought it had changed or something

The vampire set got restocked at 11am and is now out again. Don't know what to feel about it :/

From now on, going to check the Japanese site only.

actually simple explanation:

 

Japanese site and English site share common stock database.

 

So Japanese site release them at 10 am JST, international site release at 11 am JST.

 

What you see before the international release are meant for the Japanese site, but however since both site share same database, that's why we can see it "released". If you managed to grab one, then good for you. They did allocate "some" *Because I don't know how many* of the DD gathering for the international release later on.

 

VOLKS still keeps with their words. They didn't break any promises at all. It is all according to plan. The Japanese get the items they want, the international got the items they want.

 

Well, I do manage to get the penguin costume, and I am a happy man.

The vampire set got restocked at 11am and is now out again. Don't know what to feel about it :/

I saw that restock and got the preserving to cart message followed by failed. =/

At least it seems like they did 2 releases o well...time to grab some dinner with my funds.

I don't particularly mind going to the aftermarket for this one, as long as I can get one by next October.

Ok I actually managed to snag one. I just grabbed the first size I saw available. XD Good thing it's the size that will fit a majority of my girls. I didn't really care which I got as long as I got one.

The dolls were most definitely released outside of Japan as well.

Managed to get one too - S-SS bust size though. Was hoping for M-L size. But hopefully it will fit M anyway.... I've calmed down now.....

Nope, the items were also released on the international at 10am. Some stuff was still in stock. I think they realised they made a mistake after getting at least a few emails and released an extra order at 11am

That's why I said they are sharing the same stock database. I am pretty sure VOLKS don't do a very very stupid things like cheating their customer. That's gonna be bad PR

Yay I managed to grab a semi white skin 06 head, a normal skin 07 head and the nordic earmuff dress set . Had a real nightmare trying to get any of the pages to load but luckily I happened to be already on the site when the sales opened and get everything I wanted in my basket before the rush, it took a whole hour to load through all the pages of the order form though!!!!! I really thought by the time the final order button page loaded everything would have vanished from my cart.

Haha, for the folks that bought Alice's Penguin Suit, you'll be so amused by it! It looked like the staff was carrying around a giant carnival game prize everywhere they carried it... Such a huge penguin.

Most of them sold, but they still had two penguins by the time I left the store after the event. That's just for the one place I went today, that is.

 

I didn't buy a penguin, but I was amused by it enough to consider it. I bought the tsukaima set and vampire kyun though.

Thick fabric plus some leather(?) strips where the black lines are. It sits flat in the package, but the curvature of the DD's bum makes the thick fabric stick outwards and give the hoopskirt-like effect when the outfit is being worn.

 

That's how Miki can sit on the gothic wing chair without problem in Volks ads while Chihaya stands next to her and has the poofed skirt.

YES!!! I managed to get the SD Mutton Vest set!! I'm so happy. I was convinced that by the time I woke up, it would be sold out but it looks like I got the last one. *happy dance*
