Spider Lilies meet their Fate :)

I've always loved spider lily flowers and I was excited to plant some in my front yard when my Dad gave me some bulbs a few years ago. The first couple of years they came up like gangbusters. But in recent years they've not popped up like before and it always made me a little sad when only two or three bloomed.

 

Luckily this year I had a LOT more flowers bloom and I was finally able to get some photos of one of my girls with them. I also took the chance to share a new outfit I got from a seller here on the forums.

 

So here's my Fate showing off a new kimono out amongst the spider lilies!

I like how the flowers, kimono and Fates eyes all mesh together so nicely.

Gorgeous combination! Fate's totally a warm-tones kind of girl, but always is just a little different from normal, so those are totally the right flowers for her. Nanoha agrees. (Seriously, she's got this like, dreamy-eyed look at the moment. It's weird. XD)

Thank you very much! I agree that she looks good with warmer tones, that's just one reason I let her model this new kimono. And I'm happy to hear your Nanoha approves! I do wonder if she's okay tho since she seems to be zoning out now....

It's funny you mention the flowers blooming just for her as that has actually happened to me MANY times! I've had girls arrive and flowers that hadn't bloomed in YEARS would suddenly bloom for me within days of a new girl getting here. It's almost uncanny how they "know" a new DD is coming!

Yep, it's crazy I know! But I know of at least 4 or 5 other girls that had this happen when they arrived here so I don't think it's a coincidence any more. And thanks about Fate! I really do like her quite a bit.

Thank you about Fate and her photos! She had fun out there and I also love that kimono. It's brocade and very detailed. I got it for an excellent price so it made me really happy that it's also well made and looks great. Bonus!
