Come in!

(Disclaimer: This is my first photo story. I tried to keep it simple. Sorry for the bad pictures. I'm still learning how to use flash well.)

 

 

A new girl was arriving today. I wasn't sure what to expect. I cleaned the room and waited, which involved a lot of pacing.

 

Then I heard a little knock on the door...

 

 

Girl: Excuse me.

 

Me: Hey! Come in!

 

 

Girl: Thank you for having me.

 

 

Girl: Hi, it's nice to meet you. I hope we can get along.

 

Me: (She's so cute! )

 

Girl: Are you okay?

 

Me: Uh, yeah, sorry!

 

 

Girl: Can I look around?

Me: Of course. This is your home now too.

 

 

Girl: What are these? They're big.

 

Me: Mmm, you could say they are distant relatives.

 

Girl: Can I meet them.

 

Me: Maybe later.

 

 

Girl: This is a large collection of games.

 

Me: Haha, yeah, I kinda have an addiction to MMOs.

 

Girl: Hmm... I hope they don't take up too much of your time.

 

 

Girl: Ah, a computer! Good, this will come in handy.

 

Me: Well, I'm usually on there... but...

 

Girl: Oh, what's over here!

 

 

Girl: That's a nice big TV! Even the speakers are really large.

 

Me: Hehe. Thanks!

 

 

Girl: Can you help me up.

 

Me: Uh, sure. (So cute!)

 

 

Girl: Thank you. I can see the whole room from here.

 

Me: Yeah, it's not very big.

 

Girl: That's okay.

 

 

Girl: I brought a snack. Do you want some?

 

Me: Sure... Where did you have that?

 

 

Girl: This is pretty comfy. I think I'll rest here for a while. Can we watch something?

 

Me: Sure!

 

 

Girl: Those two kick butt!

 

Me: Haha.

 

We relaxed for the rest of the day. I think she likes it here. She never gave me her name, though.

Hooray! She's finally home with you! She is certainly inquisitive sin't she? That's so great! I bet you two will have such fun now. And when her sister arrives it will really get crazy!

 

I loved her poses on the bed, those were great! And the fact you did a "pick me up" pose was awesome. She's an adorable girl Averis, treat her well!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you liked it. It was a lot of work. Haha. I couldn't get the default wig on so she borrowed Jaimee's (my resin girl). I also had to recharge my camera battery halfway through. The poor girl stood in her last pose while we waited to continue. I certainly have a new-found respect for photo stories now.

 

Good story. You did very well on it. Cant wait to see the next one.

Thanks! She certainly was curious about everything. I saw "pick me up" poses elsewhere, I just had to do it. She fell back when I was taking that shot, but I caught her. I'll certainly treat her well. I'm already trying to break my piggy bank to spoil her.

Yea!!! Very nice story! I loved seeing her just knock on the door and introduce herself! So cute watching he investigate her new home. hehe. I wonder how things will go when she finally gets to meet her distant relatives?

 

Sorry to hear you had trouble with her default wig as well. I found Lily's wig to worry me the most as I was so afraid of damaging it but I had the most trouble with Neris' wig. More trouble than any wig I have worked with before.

 

I'm also gald you did the 'pick me up' pose with her. So adorable. Where was she carrying the Pocky? Did she learn some trick from my Lily? haha

That made me laugh. Partially because I thought of the same thing when I saw the box but also because I have the collector's edition as well and yes - that game was a royal turd! haha

 

I think you could introduce her to the other games, especially WOW or SWTOR when it comes out - just don't let her try out FFXIV!

Hehe, thanks! It's part her default outfit with an SD top I had. I didn't want to spend too much time trying to get her full default outfit on so that I could have time to take pictures. Even still, it took all night to take the pictures. Haha, I didn't think about that, I haven't called myself an Otaku for over a decade.

Thanks! Yeah... sigh... XIV had/has such potential. With all the new games coming, I don't see how they can get back out of their hole. No, she doesn't have a name yet. I'm gonna give her and Airy new names. I just haven't had time to really think on it yet.

Thanks again! I dunno if I'll ever mix my DD and resin girls together. I just kinda wanted to show my two BJD boxes there since they are nearly the first thing you see when you enter the room. Haha.

 

I didn't want to spend too much time on the default wig, so I put it back in the bag and pulled off Jaimee's. It was easier to deal with. >.

 

Haha, she may have gotten the pocky idea from Lily. Who knows? Maybe it's a DD secret!

 

Seems many were lured with FFXIV. I had formed a whole guild and got a bunch of friends to play. I'll never live that down. >.>

 

I dunno if my Neris will be into games. Airy might be more into them, though.

Thanks! Haha, actually, I sold nearly all of my Transformers as a kid. I regret that now and I kinda wanted some again. Those War for Cybertron ones looked cool and kinda like the old ones I remember. I do have the game as well, but I haven't finished it yet.

Very cute story!! So many MMOs.. I played WOW and diablo 2 for bout 5 years religiously!! Brings back some great memories!
